@ Batteries do not degrade linearly. They degrade slowly at first then when they degrade to 10-20% the risk of complete failure starts to climb. Look at the issue of dendrites in Li-Ion batteries. These dendrites grow over time and grow faster the greater number of charge cycles. When they get long enough to short the anode to the cathode the battery fails. It can happen at any time and manufacturers use elaborate methods to minimize dendrite growth, but nothing completely stops them

Hi Simon, we purchase a large number of brand new batteries from EVE factory, and they do not weld studs or nuts. The proof from EVE is the original shipping report. In addition, our factory has laser equipment, which can weld M6/M8 studs or nuts according to customer needs, free of charge.(*^_^*)

It is far better for a distributor to do this by the order to meet the demands of the end user and themselves because they can stock 1 product that they can make into 5 different ones thus saving from having to stock thousands of cells in 5 different types of terminals.. Some box builders will weld the buss bars directly to the cell contact flats while EV or other companies may require double bolting and welding for higher vibration applications.. Home builders that are making rack mounted solar storage that would draw a maximum of 200 amps across the terminals are well within safety limits to use the single m6 stud or bolt..

I've received Quotes during the summer of less than $32/cell for EVE280AH cells in orders of over 10 boxes of 4 units. (NOT INCLUDING shipping fees, Duty & Taxes.) The market is a bloodbath with fierce competition between suppliers. The MORE you Order, the lower the Costs. 60 to 90days shipping time. (I'm not selling btw, just repeating the kinds of costs out there.)

Thank you for your message. I fully believe that the quote you received does exist, but it is definitely not the price of grade A, maybe grade B/C or used. There will always be lower priced batteries on the market because there are so many batteries of varying quality. We have been working hard to provide customers with the safest and high quality batteries, and we are also happy for customers to find other super low priced batteries, but we hope to reduce assembly troubles and save costs in the long run.
