Sir why there is shadow as the secondary waves are produced at the aperture of the obstacle in 1st example which you have taken at starting. The waves produced by the secondary source at the aperture will flow the waves in the front direction and the screen will be bright.So why there is appearance of shadow means dark area on the screen Sir?

why matter act as an obstruction to EM Waves i.e. how matter behaves with EM Waves? what causes the wavelength alteration on the interface of different media? when light gets refracted and when will it get reflected? - please sir answer these questions thanking you in anticipation.

sir if sound has larger wavelength than light then why light travel faster than sound because use to raste mien ane wali chizo ki wajah se sound ke mukable kum speed se travel karna chahiye or sound ke pas larger wavelength hoti hai to woh to easily or faster travel kar sakta hai please reply as soon as possible pleassssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

+Pradeep Kshetrapal Sir, I have a question.. why sometimes we see lens is used between slit and screen to observe diffraction in case of fraunhofer type? Is this the reason for getting clear view of dark and bright fringes or to differentiate that?

sir we saw that more the wavelength more the diffraction hence more the scattering but in class 10 we also saw that sunset appears red because high frequency waves are scattered in their way reaching earth but only red colour stands...though scattering is more for red colour yet it reaches us...isn't it a contradiction... plz help..!
@amartyamondal3984
@amartyamondal3984 8 жыл бұрын
+Sunav Kumar Vidhyarthi You have a misconception, according to Rayleigh Scattering of light, the extent of diffraction is inversely proportional to (wavelength)^4 red light being larger in wavelength scatters least but during sunset as because light has to travel more distance even res light gets scattered but by small amount,for that reason the intensity of light reaching us is reduced that is why the sun looks dim and sky also looks slightly orange.

sir you told in this lecture(40:14) that path difference is 1lambda but interference is held by only those having path difference 1\2lambda ,sir how is this practically possible as the 2waves from the end(having path difference 1 lambda) are meeting at the same point so there 1constructive interference should also form!!!!!!

sir if a light bends always towards shadow area then why our shadow become very large at morning and evening time ;and our shadow is always less than our actual height but different time our shadow is greater than our height why please reply

@THEPIRATEsg
@THEPIRATEsg 6 жыл бұрын
Yes it's true that light bend towards shadow and this doesn't mean that that shadow will always be smaller than the object. Your shadow is larger than you during evening is because of the angle between the horizon and the source and due to diffraction your shadow is just getting little bit smaller around the edges compared to what geometrically should be if light is considered as a ray. Hope this helps.
