Parnam sir,Sir in this vedio we read when the velocity of particle is increase than the mass of particle is also increase , than when we heat the substanse the electron of substance is moving very fast ,than why the mass of electron is not increase?

Sir one question: In the video you showed that by left hand rule the net force is in outward direction so will the charged particle revolve in x-z plane or the x-y plane as shown by you? Also shouldn't the time period for oscillator be t/2 as the cyclotron completes half circle and then comes to the empty space. Sir please answer the questions.

krishanu mukhopadhyay the use of oscillating electric field is to provide high frequency electric field across the gap of the dees and u cant keep magnetic field in one half of the dee because magnetic field enables the charge particle in circular path and if we keep magnetic field in one half then it may not accelerate in the circular path then it will remain confined in 1 dee only..

very nice video sir. I listened it in parts. I want to make one correction. When you compared the strength of Electric field and Magnetic field, it should be remembered that in the cyclorone the magnetic and electric fields are due to independent sources. We can keep E as week as possilble and B as strong as we wish. You should rather suggest comparing the Forces due to each one of them and tell the difference between the values of the constants involved i.e. 1upon4pi epsilon or mu upon 4pi.

ajmal khan electron is vrry light particle and we use heavy particle like proton,alphaparticle bcz light particle velocity become fast and comparable to speed of light i think u have to seen its limitations ur doubt become clear 😊😊😊😊😊😊 i hope u understand

Ajmal Khan Because mass of electron is very small due to electric force electron gains very high speed in very small time. At high speed mass of electron varies.

sir in mv^2/r r is radius of rotation or radius of particle?when we had learnt friction in centripetal force r was radius of circle made by particle here also i was thinking the same as velocity increases the radius of circle made by particle go on increasing until become equal to radius of dees but you said it is radius of particle not of circle made by particle i am not getting this sir .i have understood whole concept of cyclotron as r being radius of circle which particle makes because of magnetic field

sir my question is that why cant we keep electric field in one half of the cyclotron and an opposite electric field in the other half why do we use oscillating electric field when even the above can produce acceleration in a similar fashion as in case of oscillating electric field???

so sir in metals electric field is zero in both when the are open surfaces and when they are cloaed surfaces

Sir, how field inside the dee is zero when electric field lines can exist in vacuum as well. And the dees are metallic so field lines should be present in the vacuum also(inside the dees).

sir apne kaha ki time period of the oscillatory is same as tht of 1 circle of the charge particle. but sir the electric field changes its direction for every half of the circle.!plz ans my question sir

Sir,frequency of oscillator shud change before the charge comes in d electric field ryt? If yes,then d time period of oscillator shud b equal to d time period of half of 1 rotation na? Is it or not? Becos if d time period of oscilator equals d time period of 1 rotation then the polarity wont b changing when d charge reaches the electric field,hence,d charge wont get accelerated

sir that is what im trying to say, i just couldnt formulate my question properly!! what my question is, that why cant we keep magnetic field in one half of the dees and in another half electric field in an opposite direction to that we had kept in the first half??? sir because already the proton is getting attracted towards left in one half and towards right in the other so what the use of an oscillating electric field

First of all sir your teaching is just amazing!!!!!!! sir how does the particle entr the "DEES"..."they are semicircular hollow box with no partitions made" ..isnt it???????????and sir why doesnt the particle changes its direction while moving in the gap bet the 2 dees??????although the mag.field IS small in comparison to the elec.field but the elec.field dont really effect the mag.field...or do they???bcz the same mag.field inside the dees changes the direction of the particle.....???

Sir i don't Know u will read or not this question but due respect this my most important doubt till now WHEN velocity is at Max what is about mass . I think it should be negligible that s why bullet train seems to be invisible celling fans looks like having only one stick . Why theory of relativity say s velocity increase s mass also increase s .though i will learn according to book because i Know IAM not a scientist and i want marks in board . just u made m capable of understanding and feel that it can ask doubt .idont know u Will reply or no t but this actually a very imp doubt
