sir when we apply negative potential then you have said every electron is left with different energies and current becomes zero when we apply max negative potential but then electrons which do not have max energy then they should move in opposite direction .... but why they are not doing so???

Remember whenever negative potential is increasing then velocity of electron is decreasing because of opposite force on it .its mean that the time is increasing and time is increasing then current is decreasing

sir there is a numerical a biconvex thick lens is constructed with glass. each of surface has a rad of 10 cm and the thickness of the middle is 5cm. locate the image of an obj placed far away from the lens [meu for glass is 1.5] ans is 9.1cm from the farther surface on the other side of the lens.
