Have you guys at Halfwheel ever reviewed and compared solid wood humidors against mdf humidors? I've heard account's of people saying hardwood is susceptible to potential cracking as wood naturally expands, something mdf doesn't really do. You guys know if it's true? Thanks

Maybe Charlie is too young to know but XIKAR made a desktop humidor in 2006.

I’m not exactly old at 38, but as soon as I see a wood desktop humidor getting plugged in I cringe.

The joints didn’t look like they were dovetailed, also having to remove all the contents to replace the boveda packs is not a great solution.
