Thanks man! For bashing (with jumps), the 9125 is not entirely built for it IMO. The front steering wheel hub carrier and arm connection, as well as the steering rod..will deformed and became loose pretty fast. I love how the car drives though. And unfortunately, upgrade parts is almost non existent for the 9125. Replacement parts are however available. The 9204e on the other hand, the chassis is of conventional design. Which means parts are generally easier to come by.

As a starter rc car which is better? 9125 or wltoys 144001?

Depends on how you want run it, as 9125 is a truck and 144001 is a buggy. That said, I would recommend the 144001, plenty of spare parts and highly upgradeable if you want it.

Hello! I'm thinking of getting the 9125. Do you have any other trucks that you would recommend at this price point, or is this the best value for money? I'm after a RC that is speedy and will be used on the road, grass and dirt/ sand. I see there are q901/2/3 but I don't know the differences. I don't plan to do any upgrades unless it is easy and cheap to do. I currently have a A979, nice and fast but too small for grass. Thank you!

Hey, if you have to stick with that price point, I would recommend HSP 1:10 Brontosaurus (94111) over 9125. Reasons are abundant source of spares, easy to upgrade with standard chassis..and I do like upgrading RC cars. However, the 9125 are better as a ready-to-run (RTR) model. Doesn't really need an upgrade and I think will meet all your desired criterias. Except maybe for sands, as it can get into the enclosed chassis; so you would have to open up the chassis if you want to get rid of the sands. Spares are abit limited (in terms of source to get them). Upgrade parts is almost non existent. The q901/2/3 are similar to 9125 model, just different sizes. Hope this helps 👌

@@thebrorc821 I've had my truck for a month now and it is awesome. Sadly, something has happened to the steering. I'm thinking it's the servo but my knowledge limits me to a guess. Would you be able to please see my video and tell me what you think: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rnuUp2NjeJ6ki7s My next question is, is there an upgrade for the servo available? A stock servo is $12 but I'm thinking to upgrade if it's possible to stop the same issue from occurring again. What do you think? :)

@@Donobansan Hi, it could be either a loose servo saver or servo problem. If you open the chassis case up, at the bottom of the front side is where the servo saver is. Check for excessive play, and if there is..tighten the spring up. May need to put some clip tu tighten it more. If the servo saver is okay, then probably the servo needs to be changed. I would recommend upgrading to metal geared servo. Altho, you might need to DIY'ed the connector to fit in the stock servo pin/slot. You can also just cut the used servo leads, and connect to the new one (also cut) by soldering.

Slm.. Build quality - 9125 slight better, 12404 size besar sikit walaupun dua2 1/10 scale. Spare parts - dua2 kena cari direct dari China, dan parts masih available. Upgrade parts - Dua2 tak ada sangat upgrade parts. Tapi 12404 ada advantage senang nak upgrade ke brushless setup.

@@braveschannel616 Last speed test dekat 70 km/h. Tapi belum full speed lagi tu, sebab test area tak sesuai haritu. Patutnye boleh laju sikit lagi kalau atas flat paved road.
