Xiong won the first round. Angela won rounds 2 and 4. Rounds 3 & 5 were draws. You could tell Xiong remembered the previous fight motivating her to take out Angela in the first round, and she almost did. But Angela miraculously survived and recovered to take the second round reminding Xiong of the previous fight in which Angela choked her out, causing Xiong to be cautious the rest of the fight. Angela took the best Xiong threw at her and kept moving forward causing Xiong to fight defensively and not to lose.

I don't know how Angela thinks she won. Xiong's punches were more accurate and had done more damage to Angela, a lot of Angela's knees and punches were blocked, they didn't land. I do have to give Angela credit for not giving up and fought to the end, but she did not win the fight ... very clear.

I am a Lee fan, but Xiong has been the better fighter over the three matches. It is a great rivalry for sure, but Lee has to up her game for the next one. Xiong isn't completely wrong about the bias in my opinion, but Lee is also capable of beating Xiong as well.

Xiong only knew and had a month to prepare for this fight while Angela was already bulking up after the stamps fight which meant she knew that this fight was supposed to happen. Also why was Angela fighting for Xiong’s belt in straweight when Angela when had lost all her fights in straweight. She didn’t have the right to challenge straight for Xiong’s belt in the first place. If the trilogy has to happen, chatri should have made in at atomweight for Angela’s belt.

So she only had a month to train (this is nothing new in MMA), and so what if it was at Strawweight? Angela is a well known title holder so of course it makes sense, plus as you pointed out - it was their 3rd fight, and Angela already beat Xiong at Atomweight. Now they can go a 4th time at Atomweight (where Xiong will get to skip the line like Angela did at Strawweight). None of what you said changes my mind toward any bias. If anything she should be happy that she is getting opportunity after opportunity to make serious money.
