In one of the events, we have Tsuyuko insinuating that Kokomi and Traveler are dating, and nothing like that happens with any male playable characters. So I'm sorry but the fandom is warranted in fantasizing that some female characters have secret crushes on the Traveler.

Well, she is one of the big three that makes it completely obvious that they have have a crush on the traveler. And I'm not talking about hang out events or tea pot conversations because those don't count. All the characters purposefully flirt there. There's only three that make it obvious in the actual, canonical story. Keqing, you all just saw that scene. Ayaka, when the traveler goes with her to the festival and get the mask and she also gives the traveler a hairpin, which, in Korean customs, is a symbol of marriage, almost like a wedding ring. And Kokomi, who wrote down in her diary, and I quote, "Swordfish captain (traveler) came back today. Energy +4." There are some theories about Nilou, but I don't think we have gotten enough screen time for her yet so I can't be sure.

I’d argue Shenhe is more of a simp then kokomi or keqing. Only because Shenhe went out of her way to go to mondstrat to see the traveler.
