something amazing about Hermitcraft 7 is how there world became so small. in the start all of them seemed for far way from each other, but a year later you can always go to someone else's place with one more rocket, truly remarkable. keep up HC7 for another year. i beleive in a 2 year season

Even S6 was only 20 months long and by the last few months a lot of the Hermits weren't putting out many Hermitcraft videos. I think starting S8 on the 1.17 update in June would be perfect as 16 months is right around where the Hermits start to get bored or run out of ideas.

g'day xisumee! I'm am 18 year old Aussie bloke who teaches music at a music school. Work drama happened and the boss started overstaffing so now I'm only working like 10 hours a week and it's been really rough, it feels like bloody quarantine again... Just wanted to say your videos, all the hermits and hermitcraft as whole has helped me with a lot, I don't think I would be here if it wasn't for all of you'se. I have so much free time now, something I havn't had for a solid year, and i have absolutely nothing to do. I have no inspiration to write any music anymore...(watching hermitcraft helps with that somehow) I'm also sitting around waiting for this bloody caves and cliffs update.. but anyways, just wanted to leave a comment for the 1 or 2 people that see it. cheers! -Vinnie

Hii xisuma, On the pumpkin-carving contraption: me and my friends build one a couple month back to make jackolanterns for a pixelart floor in a netherperimiter. The basic setup was you stand on a hopper with cobwebs on top with a little elevator ciclyng thru sheers. Ur inventory had to be filled, pumpkins in offhand and sheers in your mainhand, so whenever they break you pick up a new pair from the cobweb youre standing in. Infront of all that was a contraption where u place a pumpkin, sheer it and then a stickypiston with stairs on broke the lantern. Then there was a hopper below to pick it up and a dropper feeding you a new pumpkin whenever the hopper receives a lantern. Later we put lava inbetween the player and the pumpkin-placing spot to get rid of the masses of seeds that would spill into the sheer-cycle. If you need more information or detail i can ask my friend if the redstone-testing world still exists cause the mashine is no longer on the server. Greetings from germany -Claus

For the sheep game: You should for example have maybe 8 white sheeps and 2 red sheeps. And name every sheep Jeb_. This makes every sheep in rainbow colours. Now you must find and shear the red one for the task. White sheeps do nothing.
@alienamzal4773 жыл бұрын
That would be too cruel. But still, throw this idea out to tango as well
@hiba86893 жыл бұрын
That’s actually cool but it would take too long, it will make it easier for the imposter to kill you
@yishsaur76573 жыл бұрын
I don't think, it will take long. Example: 4 white sheeps -> 1 red sheep -> 4 white sheeps -> 1 red sheep. This is the pattern. If a sheep comes out every 5 seconds and you are really unlucky, you will shear first 4 white sheeps and finally a red sheep. This takes just 20 seconds (without any other actions). Some other tasks take about the same time or longer. And if you are really lucky, you hit the red sheep at the first try. Which saves a lot of time. (And if you shear a sheep, it loses the wool and you know it is the wrong one. You can not shear the same one twice)

I decided to do the math: if you get all of your bricks with emeralds you bought from Impulse without the discount and you sell a stack of brick blocks for 2 diamonds, you will earn 1.2 diamonds for each stack you sell. With the discounted emeralds you will earn 1.6 diamonds for each stack of brick blocks sold. Which means, for every diamond you spend at Impulse's shop you get 4 diamonds in profit assuming all of your stock gets bought.

There's a really simple solution for the "door behind the painting" problem. You can use a trapdoor, so you can enter it only when you are crouching, and you don't have to worry about closing the door
@itayvolk3 жыл бұрын
The conversion rate before the discount is 80 (1.25 stacks) brick blocks per diamond and after 160 (2.5 stacks) brick blocks per diamond. 32 emeralds per diamond, 10 bricks per emerald, 4 bricks for one block. 32*10/4=80 and after the discount it's simply 64*10/8=160 because it's 64 emeralds per diamond.

You've probably seen it. I did minimal checking, but you can just turn the door around. That way open or closed, you can still pass through the secrete passage.

@evelynlamoy84833 жыл бұрын
I think automating pumpkin carving would be easy. A dispenser with sheers will sheer whats in front of it. Pumpkins and jack-o'-lanterns are whole blocks so pistons can push them. So, make a really narrow pumpkin farm that forces the pumpkins to spawnin a single strip, have a piston push them forward, at push limit have another pistol redirect them, ahead of that sheers in a dispenser to carve (a chest full of backup sheers above, and a hopper to feed them into that). And if you even wanna automate the harvesting, just have it continue to push them a safe distance away, and then a TNT based harvesting station, with a network of hoppers beneath.

Ilmango has an AFK pumpkin carver. It still requires you stand there and hold right click, but I think it does 1 pumpkin every tick, maybe 2 ticks. If you need a reason to build it just remember that if you make them jack o lanterns that is generally the cheapest light block for hidden lighting. They also fully transmit redstone power, so you can replace any block in a redstone component with it (as long as it doesn't get pushed by a piston) and then your redstone builds are easily lit.
@poplasia3 жыл бұрын
When I carve pumpkins I tower up with them, get shears in one hand and an axe in the other, then hold right and left click. It can be a bit glitchy and push you off the tower sometimes, so maybe next time I'd make a tube for the pumpkin tower. Still, works a treat.

Semi-automating pumpkin carving idea: pumpkins in one hand, shears in the other, hold down both buttons (like doing concrete) while placing them in front of an observer and piston. Observer detects the pumpkin, sends signal around to the piston, which breaks the pumpkin, and have a hopper below to pick them up. Should be enough time between the pumpkin placing and the piston firing to shear the pumkin. Seeds might clog the hopper though. Might need a hopper minecart setup, or just a filter.

One idea have in my mind for some time is, to create some sort of customized villager or something similar, for the resource that are not renewable, like clay, sand, etc. Just make the prices high enough so that hermits can still make shops if they want, but if no one is in the business, you guys can have a source of the material instead of doing the grind. The reason I’m having this in mind is because of how scicraft handle this issue. They allow most of the duping as long as it’s a vanilla glitch and that plays huge role in making it possible to do more huge project in the long run. Plus some hermits just get load of diamond to spare. And the currency can be anything, other than diamond, you can have rare items as currency instead, like dragon heads, mob heads (which is a thing in 1.17), netherite, etc.
