Have you tried the glow squid sound? It's a got a wet noise fitting the honey alongside an ethereal jingle that comes right after. Definitely my favourite mob sound so far!

I really dislike how frustrating it is to manage villagers. I would like them to be a lot less overpowered, but way way easier to move and to control. Especially over longer distances and especially with those new trading mechanics that are coming.

It would be so cool if the player heads had a certain dialogue when put on a note block! For ex. Bdubs' head will say " YOU'LL SPEAK WHEN SPOKEN TO !!!! " Or Scar's "THATS WHAT SHE SAID"

You might want to swap out those glass panes in front of the composters in the trading hall for fences, as I'm pretty sure a baby zombie can still get to the villagers by jumping on the pane and working their way into that corner 👀 other than that it's an awesome build though! Also, for the elevator, if you can't find a mob head sound you like, remember you can mess around with different blocks under the note blocks as well! A simple ding or chime might just do the trick 👌

a useful tip for autocrafting honey blocks is if you put the crafter feeding into a pot, it will take the honey but shoot out the bottles, makes separating the two really easy.

I love how there’s some things that are routine on hermitcraft or seem to be… like Ren always sells logs, Jevin makes the enderman farm… And then you have X who always seems to do something for the community… plus much more. It’s just comforting… :)

Found that villagers standing on double carpet still helps too. I'm using double carpet and magma block under stations. Villagers stand next to each other (separated by trap doors) and they stay linked to their work stations somehow...

I think just a note block with an emerald block under it would suit your elevator noises the best! Mob heads might be good for a door, but if you’re using the elevator a lot it’d probably get annoying!

It's a chest because it's not a full block that you can waterlog; that makes it easier to get out because you don't have to "swim" or "bop" out. 😊

The "zombie curing" sound would work for a toilet. Maybe for a golden apple head? Also for your elevator, the Warden might have some cool sounds for it? Or even a beacon sound if you have that "trade blocks for heads" tweek? Suggestion for the mob head tweek. Maybe you could have a head for each sound that a given mob makes, similar to how goats have eight different horn sounds?

You may not need many noteblocks for a good elevator sound! A simple two bell noteblock noises, high then low, could make a convincing chime

The issue with the villagers in the glass is. when they are a baby their hitbox is smaller but when they grow up their hitbox become larger and since they are already clipping the class and getting pushed into it by the water or cobble wall, they end up inside that particularly spot.

That villager in the glass got pushed in because too many villagers grew up at once. They got glitched into the block as a result. Happens from leaving the area and messing up growth timers.

X you don't need a button on the note block to hear the mob head sound. You can just hit the note block

That glass glitch is actually pretty common, at least in my experience dealing with infinite villager breeders, I usually use a wall of walls the wall hitbox makes it so that the villagers are centered down the water and dont actually ever touch the walls. Also, I dont know if this will help, but I've noticed that if the farmer villager has a carrot as its fist trade and the second is a loaf of bread, most times the next trade will be the pumpkin trade, I got 17 farmer villagers that prove it to be so, unless they changed the loot table on the villager traders, since a year ago. Hope it helps.

X! Per Mango's tutorial on this design, it's more efficient to alternate melons and pumpkins. The growth rate is like 50% higher, tho the actual yield is closer 20% improved on account of loss during melon harvesting. It's still an improvement, though, and your farmers can accepts both melons and pumpkins, allowing for 2x the trades per day cycle. It's a little annoying to get the double trade on all your farmers, but there's only like 3 trade options for that layer, so it's not that bad. PLUS you guys can autocraft them, and leave my stone-age manual-crafting-ass in the dust.

I just came to point out that it's a major pain point having to wait for the trades to reset and how you might half the likelihood of running into that, having been there quite recently myself. Btw, max efficiency would be generating free emeralds off of circular trades from the cleric (buy bookshelves, sell books, for anyone interested. Requires zombie conversion discount). 2:15 The diagonal trading setup is cool, but as you know, vilagers are stupid, and may steal each others workstation with such a setup. May cause the ones in the middle to be out of a job. At least I 've had issues like that before. But It may be because of zombification/panic. Just a heads-up :) EDIT: Nevermind, seems you're already aware!
