To be fair, you have to have extremely high IQ to properly play Xiukai. His mechanics and passive are extremely technical and without a solid grasp of culinary skills most of his routing is downright unplayable. There's also Xiukai’s rich lore woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from cookbooks and his sheer girth really compliments his sophisticated character. Only Xiukai mains understand this stuff; they have the intellectual prowess to truly execute a high level of macro awareness of the map, to realize where to cook what item, but also when to press R (which is a very hard to time skillshot) at the right moment. As a consequence people who dislike Xiukai and ask for his nerfs truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the historical background regarding his escape from China in his lore which itself is a harrowing reference to the authoritarian hellscape that Genchat is today. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of these Jackie mains (who are sub 90 IQ btw) scratching their heads in confusion as they try to properly play Xiukai on Lumia Island. What fools… how I pity them.
And yes, by the way, I do have the Fish and Chips logo tattooed on my body. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the Xiukai discussion’s eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they're at least Titan Elo. Nothing personal kids.
