Remember when we had reward cards for going 12-0 or winning triple threat games. I swear like 50 unlimited wins last year would get you a really solid card, now it’s a chance at a decent card, nothing to play for, no reason to log in.

There really isn't. You don't get to see progress or records if you're not tier 1. There's no game mode rewards. Quitting does nothing as there are no incentives. They have to do a revamp of the rewards to make it worth playing

Exactly. A Massive revamp. I tried playing showdown last night and I’m looking at the rewards and I played 1 game then I just didn’t have the motivation. In previous years you would be working towards a reward and getting a door game or drop the ball game after every game with a chance at a good player. Triple threat you would play 100 games for a decent rewards plus the rewards after each game. A couple of years ago if you completed all game modes there was an ultimate reward. That was so much fun in my opinion. Every season something worth playing each game mode for. I got better at the game in doing so and rewarded along the way. They have completely and I mean completely screwed this game mode up.

I miss when every game mode had a specific reward u could grind for, even if ur online or offline. U could choose any game mode and u would have the opportunity to get a great card but now the only game mode that u can grind and know what ur gonna get is domination. Breakout is just a random reward, u might get something good or u might not, triple threat park is almost impossible to get a good win streak for a card or pack that isn’t even worth it, king of the court is only decent if u come first and the galaxy opal isn’t worth it bc all the good ones are out already, and salary cap u cant even use ur best team and once u complete it for the week u only get a random PD who most likely wont be good, and after 6 weeks u will get a galaxy opal premium option pack which will be near all star weekend when the bloody 1st 100 overall will come out who will probably be like Shai, Giannis, Jokic or LeBron who won’t be worth the 4 million plus mt even tho he has 97+ everything with most HOF badges and like 3 or 4 legend badges unless they decide to make legend badges only available to players if applied by the user. 2k should bring back TT offline and CT offline by themselves with a domination style to it where u can complete tiers for players and get a grand prize at the very end. I believe a sense of progress in a game is key bc without it, things get repetitive and boring and every time u win, nothing happens, but if the progress is too hard people will give up too quickly. I appreciate you making this video. It's honestly more fun with a budget team as well. I never spent money in VC until last year w the shitshow no auction house gambling BS. It really is addictive. Additionally, now that i have good cards, i feel like i should win every game, which is obviously not the case. There's something about using souped, expensive cards that makes me feel like i am given an advantage. It makes me feel dirty and gross lol. As someone who played MT NMS for at least 6 years and has now spent *substantial * money the past 2 years, i can say with confidence that i enjoyed the game exponentially more when i was NMS. Cooking rich dudes with rubies is a much better feeling than eeking out a win w GO/PD cards. That is just my experience. But like DBG would say and JC sorta touched on- if someone swapped your DM Dr J w a PD version, it's all but certain you literally wouldn't notice the difference. There are enough really good, affordable cards that you shouldn't have to spend money to lose with higher gems. If I'm gonna lose, I'd rather it be w a buncha Storyline rubies 😅 those cards are outstanding, especially for SC

I agree Brent. I have about 1.9 mil. I know that once the all star break is done which is not far the best cards now worth over a mil will go way down because the cards with the best sigs come out. Plus I’ve been waiting and hoping they change the rewards system they have. I feel like it’s just pointless playing. I tried last night played 1 game and had no motivation. I mean bring back the ultimate reward. Not a fricken pack with a chance at a good card which is 9 times out of 10 a shit card. Anyway it’s hard to load up and play. I’ll keep trying but I have low hopes now. Also definitely not going to spend over 1 mil on 1 card that took me 4 seasons to save that will be out dated in 4 weeks.

I'm NMS and I always build my team around free rewards and then spend some mt in the auction house for 1-2 expensive legends I like. I use them for a week or few and trade for something new. My current auctionable cards are Grant Hill and Clyde Drexler of which Drexler is probably going to end up sold in a few days after I get McDaniel. I'm also going to make diamond rep in a day or two which combined with selling Drexler will boost my mt total to somewhere around 800-900k even with Hill still in my lineup.

I run Jordan all day. Because it's a game, and he's my favorite player to use. Definitely costs me wins, but it's more fun losing with my favorite players than winning with the best players available.

I’ve had GO Bron since the day he came out from the 100K VC I got for buying the game 2 weeks before Xmas and have wanted to sell him but I have him HOF and Legend badged out now and don’t really see a reason to sell. People say PD Bron is just as good but I had him for a week and they ain’t even close when it comes to defense. So there’s nobody to replace him. I ain’t gonna lie I want that 2 milli but to do what? Get Wemby? Cuz that’s all I’m missing. Don’t need Dr.J cuz I got PG and Artest backing him up and Korver as third string or when I need fire power.
