It's a shame that season 1 didn't dive deeper into their relationship. They are fascinating characters on their own and their difficult relationship is so endearing. Tissaia probably had her time wanting a child and she ended up with one troublemaker of a daughter !

They’re really hiding Tissaia’s powers from us as much as they can. We haven’t seen her use magic since like the first episode of season 1. I want to see what she can do goddammit, if Yen is her student and can do all that, what could she be capable of as arch-mistress.... By the way I was hoping she’d kill Fringilla by herself but instead goes and tries to talk to her. Maaan, she should’ve just ripped Fringilla’s head off

Tissaia’s true power was to re-shape yennefer into becoming a truly powerful vessel. Through metaphorical imagery yen physically changed but that chaos never left her. Tes reminded yen about how powerful she truly was by being cruel to be kind. If it wasn’t for tes, yen would’ve never ascended.

I haven't read books yet, so I lived in fear for 7 long episodes, because killing Tissaia at the end of the season would be the easiest and the most painful character death. And the awareness that Tissaia does die in The Witcher saga makes me even more depressed. They HAVE TO let her live! I love Tissaia too much ;_;
