How do work in audio? The integrated one died in an old audio equipment and they managed to adapt 2 class A/B mono modules of those that come now and that work at 12V, they made a regulator what delivered 12v and power the 18W modules, the problem is that it fell short of amperage and the Xl4015 regulator delivers up to 4 or 5 amps that would be left over for what I need. What I am interested in knowing is if they make noise when used in audio or can be used with confidence. Thanks.

I use this module with ic radiator on a 12V drill with 6 18650 batteries instead of the old ones with a 32V power supply

I have these and out of 5 one was DOA and the other I hook my voltage to it and smoke came from it so dead as well. The other three were fine. What I want to know is how do I turn off the CC and instead run it as a CV?
@Krzeszny95
@Krzeszny95 Жыл бұрын
My answer is late but to turn off CC, just set it at the highest current you'll be using. It supports up to 8 A so you can set that, just lower the voltage first before you set CC.

I purchased a red color XL4015 5A module and the potentiometers are located a bit differently there. My Li-Ion battery is 3.7V/800mAh. When I set up the output voltage to 4.2 volts with the potentiometer (physically located closest to the voltage input terminals which is in my case 7.5 volts) then measure the output short-circuit current with 10A current range multimeter it is always 2350 mA regardless of the position of the constant current potentiometer (physically located closest to the voltage output terminals which is in my case 4.2 volts). If I connect my Li-Ion battery is 3.7V/800mAh and measure the charging current it is always 50 mA regardless of the position of the constant current potentiometer (physically located closest to the voltage output terminals which is in my case 4.2 volts). Question - how to adjust the constant current potentiometer to make the output current reach the predetermined overcurrent protection value of 800 mA? I have tried already 3 out of 5 modules you sent me -all are the same. You have the blue XL4015 5A module in this video.

Sounds like a defective module, but if you've tried so many it makes me doubt that. If you have tried turning the current pot to almost minimum (counter clockwise, until it clicks and half turn back, 10 turn pot) and still have the issue, I would also double check the multimeter. I have used about a dozen red and blue ones without such problems, red ones seem to heat up more though.

I used a 12V 1A adapter to power my xl4015 buck converter, I was able to adjust the voltage perfectly, but when I switch to the current the blue light keeps blinking and irregular values are displayed on the multimeter. How do I solve this issue please? It's urgent.

@@oneundecided Those trimpots are quite tricky to adjust. Trial and error is required. Also what do you mean short circuit current? CC needs to be measured under load and in series, not parallel. Try to install a potentiometer (rotary) if possible.

If i give 12v 1A input tothis item by router charger would i can get 12v 5A output

no brother output power can not be greater than input power remember this golden rule they can be equal but ideally there must be some losses so efficiency can not be 100% you can give 30v 2.5A at input to have 12v 5A at out put

I can control the voltage how to do it ?
@generalawareness101
@generalawareness101 3 жыл бұрын
I am not sure how it is done. I have three of these modules and when it is set up on the meter I can control the voltage, but when I connect it to a load the constant current kicks on so I am not sure how. I think you set up the voltage to where you wish it to be via the meter then switch your meter to the 10A setting (moving the probe over to the 10A connector) , and adjust for the current you want/need. Done. Voltage will move as it tracks the current from what my experiments have shown. With CC the voltage is pretty much irrelevant.
