Crit Value = Crit Rate * 2 + Crit Damage This can be used to see what aritifacts are better than others. The focus is on crit rate as having more crit rate increases dps despite low crit dmg. So in this case it was 8.9*2 + 11.7 = 29.5 Which is approximately 30.

Here's a tip. I've been playing for a few months about 3-4 and I can notice patterns, so yesterday I wanted to bring back my Fischl because I was a Fischl Main, so I grinded on Pale Flame, and based om my pattern, just don't look at the artifacts that you get, you'll get 70% chance of a good artifact and for full set you get 60%. If you wanna have a stat that your looking for, remember to keep your low star artifacts (1-4 star) because you'll be feeding them according to what stat you want Let's say you want Crit on time piece, just use an artifact that has a Crit sub stat when it goes to lvl 4 or so on, it gives you 75%-25% chance of getting that substat, depending on how many substat it already has, 3 is 25%, 2 is 50%, and 1 is 75%, and yes 75% because the main stat can also be transferred as substat when leveling up. If confusing read this You're leveling up (A). (A) is Time Piece attack% Substats are ER EM Crit Rate You will level up (A) to level 3 with one artifact missing for level 4 Now use (B) (B) any artifact, any Main Stat Substats are EM (Having 1 is 75%) Crit damage (Having 2 is 50%) HP (Having 3 is 25%) Def (Having 4 is 25%) If yoi only have, let's say an Artifact with Main Stat and only one Substat, you get 75% to get the substat and get 25% to have the main stat as substat on the artifact you're upgrading Tell me if this helps you

I’ve been using this technique and it works way better than feeding 20+ leveled up piece as fodder. And the trick for getting crit substats to level up is if you want crit rate, you sacrifice a crit damage substat. If you want crit damage you feed a crit rate substat. It works 75% of the time for me.
