In this template we have used 31 columns for 31 days. If you want to make it 2 sessions each day, use 62 columns. Moreover, I suggest you to go through the videos on the basic features in Excel. I mean Formulas, Functions, Formatting, Charts etc.,. Once you get comfortable using those features you will be able to modify the template for your requirement.

Check whether you have proper dates in those cells. Date formatting can't be applied to text data. Check the online articles on Date and Time in Excel. You will be able to solve the issue your own. And if you have enrolled in my Excel course, refer to the part on Date and Time in Excel.
