I was researching about getting a tune for my RZR 900 50" and watching your other video about the tune and saw what you did here. Just what I needed because I too was running about 15°F hotter than stock because of my EMP bumper with skid plate, winch, and light bar. The only change I made was to repurpose the cut out piece of stock shroud and attach it to the top of the new scoop shroud to fill the space between it and the hood. Thanks.

I did about exactly the same thing as you did man on my RZR900 Trail Fox Edition , looks identical I just wish that I had the part number it took me forever to find the damn deflector! Guys at the Polaris dealership looked at me like Deer in the headlights! Great video!

hey whats up brother i have a question if you can help me out here i got a 2015 rzr 4 door 1000 non turbo i just want to swap out the stock hood to the turbo hood like you did would the the hood the you got fit my rzr with put any mods to it?

Ilan Ben Ezri Thanks! I Won’t know until it warms up more here. I did this modification during the winter and we are still pretty chilly here so the true test will be in about a month from now. I’ll update everyone with my findings.

Ilan Ben Ezri It does run cooler on the trail. The issue is I tuned the ecu with a Dynojet Power Vision 3 at the same time I did this Turbo hood. It’s very hard to come up with concrete evidence. I will tell you between the two I no longer have cooling issues.

A warning to the new 2020 RZR XP 1000 owners that 99% of the aftermarket turbo hoods out there for sale will not fit. The 2020+ RZR hoods flare way out in the back and are much wider. The front clips are spaced out much further as well. This mod would need some adjustments on the 2020+ models.
