Hockey can be a delightful game when there's this much action happening on the ice and not just because a pair of gamers are literally battling it out for a holiday-themed challenge. The Bruins are a solid team in not only being an institution within the sport but having maybe their pick of premium players on their roster. I"m by no means a hardcore fan but I know enough that skating around on ice that definitely isn't about to give way for the better half of three hours with hard sticks that can and have cut up player's faces is a trial. Most all the players have been playing since youth, tend to be built, quite tall and from parts of the world where getting signed to a team is like leaving your tiny town for a pro-football career. You guys are right that at time, the fights are often the best part of the entire game when they happen but there are times where the players realize it's really just a game and being sore about their last encounter doesn't serve anyone. Chara, a Bruin who's retired now, was a six-foot something sweetheart who didn't kindly to bad etiquette and knocked guys over for it. He even escorted the gurney of a fallen player off the ice after body-checking him into the glass because at the end of the day, it's all a game and harboring grudges serves no one. Also, this game is one of the most sensible version of hockey period. You guys could be struggling to play scuba hockey instead of a mix of American, Canadian and European ice skaters ready and often willing to help loosen your teeth if you piss them off badly enough.
