I found the 800kv system works better with the XMAXX. The 1100 kv seems to cut out for some reason. Maybe weight not sure?

I re installed the firmware from castle and that seems to have helped it for some reason.

Whats your thoughts on the New Arrma Granite 4x4 3s BLX? I just got one today cuz i already have 2 Ec5 3s 5000mah 30c batts from my busted up kraton 6s and just beat on and more specifically for the winter! It wont bother me as much have the screws start to rust on that than my Xmaxx haha. I could do a stainless steel screw kit on my Xmaxx but id rather get another rig instead👌

From my experience, out of the box on 3s the ESC heats up quick. Maybe winter temps will help ya there, else i would definately get a smaller motor pinion gear !

First runs : Nails some perfect back and double back flips Driver mode ON : Triple back flip barrel roll combo again and again. Show no Mercy mode : bends two driveshafts rips the ESC mount and stops before there's nothing reparable to work on. What a nice day at work!

@@joseCalderon1976 yes they I ordered xmaxx store mod 1.5 3 run and stripped teeth off the pinion, so I ordered the wfo mod 1.5 D Bore gears and I will not run anything other then D Bore gears now.. WFO has my business for now on

@@leroymckell2580 25/35 for the 1100kv motor from hobbywing. 56mph on grass and probably way more on concrete. The duratrax lockups x belted tires don't like it though. They are becoming unglued. I ordered the 4.3 badlands tires for that reason. I'm going to try them out

Nice thing about a bent one is you can just hammer/bend it down in a vice. Better than snapping the end off.

I just baught those. 2 to 3 runs later i took them off because there unbalanced unglued and overall its a sales gimmick that lasts about a day after shelling 40 bucks to destroy your car in sand or water. Got Bearings?😃

Nice vid but a small bash looks really expensive.. Maybe try the lipo cut off. Could be the reason the esc cutting. Really surprised for such a esc cutting with that setup. If you try the brute body, it will survive the hits and might save some other parts.

All these brushless setups have lipo cutoff I I seriously doubt he's running it with it off which is pointless unless you like buying new batteries.

@@stpbasss3773, you got a point there. You can still monitor your battery voltage regardless. Its not good to run your truck untill your esc will switch off due to low voltage anyway. I mean try to switch it off to see if it prevents switching off mid air (due too peak voltage drop) Bad landings are expensive and really sucks of its due too loss of power.
