I have another theory, I think Kenjaku was possesing the body "twice". One is by using his brain and CT to control it. The other way is how sukuna is controlling megumi right now. In other words, Kenjaku was using his own soul to keep control at the same time his CT guarantees the body wont take control if it rebels. After all, Sukuna also uses a body part of himself to do the transfer of his soul and CE to another body and posses it by dominating the soul the said body

He also got blood manipulation from eating 6 of his death womb painting brothers, Got simple domain and RCT from Kusakabe and yuta respectively from switch training. But here's the thing, 1. Yuji only has great RCT because of blood manipulation. 2. He can't use blood manipulation offensively without choso, Because he and noritoshi(I think I got the name right) taught yuji to mostly buff his RCT. 3. While he is improving with shrine, especially with the binding vow, He still nowhere near sukuna's level of mastery due to inexperience. 4. He also just used simple domain once, And he's not that good with it either. So part of the reason why nerfed sukuna is too strong is because he's fighting a nerfed yuji, who despite his awakening, Is still far too inexperienced to use the tools he has to their full potential.

His current personality is possibly the product of his BV with Kenjaku and the legend that was passed down since his disappearance. Certain things about his character don't add up. Jogo (stand proud, you were strong), Kashimo (I live to my own stature if that cannot be measured or understood that's not my problem), I believe those "afterlife" scenes were the real Heian era Sukuna. Also, the harvest festival the guys talk about how Sukuna slaughtered their forces... They sent people into Sukunas territory, possibly for a hostile takeover, and labeled him evil because he killed them. I see nothing wrong with Sukuna's actions. If someone I don't know walks into my house saying it's theirs now I'm ending them without hesitation. The legend also says the sorcerers defeated Sukuna. We now know that's a lie. What else would they be willing to lie about? They wanted a demon calamity so they got what they believed Sukuna to be. Moral, watch what you say about people, they might just come true.

It's so frustrating that we are trapped in the Sukuna cycle yet again and Gota/Yujo's comeback was ultimately completely useless. Even tho Sukuna had to improvise a ton to even use a DE again when he killed Choso and wanted to incinerate the others, he could just use it again when Yuta popped up like he never lost the ability... Now Sukuna is back to being unable to use DE with Yuji and Todo jumping him. If Yuta never came back and Gege actually stuck to Sukuna being unable to use a DE again after the Choso kill, we'd be in the exact same situation as we are right now. Basically, Yuta's comeback in Gojo's body was one huge bait and switch that did nothing.

Sukuna will probably use domain amplification to tank it , and even tho its not confirmed i think he used domain amplification to tank jacobs lader inside yuta domain as he was pretty much unharmed by it.

We've already been told that Jacobs ladder isnt enough to end Sukuna. However it does do damage, and most importantly stuns him. Leaving him wide open for Yuji to beat the absolute fuck out of Sukuna so hard that Sukuna is about to vomit his whole ass soul up and hopefully save my poor traumatized boy Megumi. Im just gonna call it and say We've won.

I called it weeks ago that Yuji might apply his "soul targeting" to Shrine in another attempt to to free Megumi, and it felt weird not seeing anyone else at that time or since have a similar theory cos it seemed to me like one of the more obvious assumptions to make also, I've some people saying Yuta's body hop was pointless since he didn't achieve much. but it's like... did they forget Yuta was about to ☠️ after the world slash anyways? he literally had nothing to lose and a possible win to gain

Gege should've managed a way for Sukuna to beat Gojo via powering Gojo down vs powering Sukuna up. Could've world built and used lore but instead the series is ending like it's dragon ball z. Just power up after power up after power up. Black flashes aren't rare anymore, Ui Ui can handle souls, Yuta is probably going to binding vow himself back to life, really don't wanna see a bunch of sub thirty year olds beat the ancient kind of curses anymore and the only interesting thing possible is for grandma to come out more curse than human and start the merger off of Sukuna's dead corpse.

I think both in universe and out people seem to be misunderstanding binding vows. Like at the beginning it was explained as this massive risk with big sacrifices if you want to gain something from it but everything since then, especially from binding vows with yourself, has shown that it's really just the method by which you control cursed techniques. It seems like in universe only sukuna, Todo, hakari maybe, and now yuji have some understanding of this. It seems vague but really i think we have all the details. It's like treating the technique and all it's attributes like a fluid volume, and using a binding vow to control the shape of the volume. For example - yuji is making a vow that prevents his dismantle from affecting sukunas actual body to do more damage to his soul. From the perspective of whatever fate entity this is a fair trade, you took your damage and put it somewhere else. But it clearly is more effective in this scenario This is, to me, why I've felt really confused by people complaining about this whole thing. Lastly, if you can create a binding vow at any time, and the only penalty for breaking it is losing what you gained, there is no limit to using this, clearly. Yuji simply has the ability to at will choose to target the soul or a physical body/object.

When Sukuna threw up he actually threw up some fingers, that's why he basically just shoved the vomit back into his mouth. I think it might come into play, like Yuji is slowly going to make him cough up fingers one by one.

Something to consider is if yuta suffered ct burnout and thats why he's somewhat braindead right now, how come something similar didnt happen to kenjaku vs tsukumo? is it that kenjaku is able to keep it active indefinitely or something?

The main complaints everyone has about Sukuna get's misunderstood, we already *know* Sukuna is very strong, he's the King of Curses and someone who was able to match and even take a win against Satoru. What get's people upset is that it seems like he's been getting weaker and weaker, but he fights as if he wasn't jumped by Yuta and Yuji and got hit with a direct Jacob's Ladder, as if he wasn't directly stabbed through the heart with the SSK, as if he didn't get Black Flashed 8 times, and his CE levels are still somehow Yuta's. And although Yuta isn't as refined as Gojo when it comes to using Infinity, that was still a Hollow Purple against a very weakened Sukuna... And it only burnt a bit of his skin. I understand he's strong as hell, but my suspension of disbelief can only go on for so much. (Edit: It also doesn't help when Sukuna is also the King of Binding Vows and we hardly ever get an explanation to what he sacrificed in order to pull it off.)

Todos vibraslap is completely broken now after he used a binding vow to increase its range far enough to teleport Hana. And the purple did hit but it wasn’t as strong since that’s most likely Yutas first time using it if he didn’t already use it during switch training

Sukuna reminds me of some really hard rpg bosses. where your just spamming every debuff on earth and every healing item and your healer is on overtime.But your barely beating them. even fits with yuji because my main character is usually alright but the rest of the team is dropping like flies. If i was sukuna id just run and recover my hp. with the state he's in , he might just run out of cursed energy. but if he goes to heal and comes back 100% its wraps its done.

On the other hand, Sukuna is finally on the brink. We see him throw up his fingers due to the DMG he received. Add Jakob's Ladder, and this might honestly end in the next 5 chapters. Yuta is gonna be done in 2 min, Todo is basically out of the fight since his Verbaslap is broken. We are closer to the endgame.

Gojo vs sukuna was fun even though it felt long as it felt way more thought out. This is just throw random person at sukuna and watch him glaze them for 3 seconds, kill them after said 3 seconds. New person arrives 1 way or another then cycle repeats. Gege has legit used every side character until now, so our last option is to throw everything at him. We still have Noritoahi Kamo, Momo, miwa and presumably nobara to throw at sukuna. Maybe the teacher at kyoto or the other kyoto teacher with the forbiden solo arena ct. Maybe we will get Uro to fight sukuna and die. Maybe we need panda or 1hp inumaki to weaken him enough so that sukuna can finally die.

The only other person that could have killed him died. So I sure as hell expect the fight to be desperate. This is the literal pinnacle of the power system, no way in hell is he going to die without taking out a lot of the cast with him. Not to mention that every power or close escape from death done by Sukuna was explained and is possible in-world. So there is no asspulls. He is on his last legs currently tho. He already almost lost control of the body when yuji forced him to vomit his fingers, not to mention the damage he'll take from Jakob's Ladder if it lands. We are currently in the endgame and Sukuna is on the brink. Go back and check his facial expressions and his thoughts in this chapter and you'll see.

Sukuna hitting a BF could be just what he needed to barely recover RCT and use HWB to tank JL. If JL does end up hitting, he could be partially stripped off Megumi and his transformation may partially be undone. Not sure if he could use 10S in his current form but if he can then he could easily hide into the shadows and dodge JL...either way, we could see a Sukuna counter attack since he has been on the defensive...waiting for Todo to die lol

I honestly think that this will actually put Sukuna in a really bad spot but then it's revealed that Uraume has won the fight against Hakari and shows up just in time to buy Sukuna time to recover and we won't find out what happened to Hakari until a flashback a chapter or two later.
