Hello, jack, I suggest that you'd better not go to Xinjiang by train. I took a train to Xinjiang about six years ago, and it was a painful memory. And you still don't have a seat. It's going to be a tough trip. Stir-fried strips and mutton skewers are the most recommended in Xinjiang. I highly recommend you to go to Guilin, Guangxi, which has amazing natural scenery.
