She's essentially a 4* story locked rider farmer that has Cleo's NP. The only downside she has is her buff removal gimmick of her NP, which can be prevented by her skill. You can't really depend on any kind of buffs if her skill isn't active so that means getting the Overcharge is a necessity to deal huge damage.

I think you can also use Tropical Summer's buff removal resistance skill on her. If you have it at max level it should completely resist the demerit.

Fabulous men and Women...I have done the research and review on our new Senpai...this gonna be hard There are only 2 comparison to her Scathach and Cleo. I will not go into detail but Cleo had her beat in attack in fact Stheno had her beat in attack. But what Sempai lack in hit she make up in her raw persistence with HP comparable to King Hassan...and ability to heal back 5000 of those HP in five turn...continuously with no cool down time...she was wolverine unless it a solid hit from NP, A focus Crit or a berserker dog-piling, she will not be kill...(so play her smart)... her buster quick deck gave her perfect Merlin/Osakabe Synergy and make killing her nigh-impossible with those too around... Her base hit count on Art is 4 with Np, and that is higher than Cleo. Her extra hit count was lower than Cleo... so all in all Cleo will be generating more stars but U will be charging her Np Relatively faster. And we shall not talk about Scathach Np gen. So now skill...Scathach lost by default. Cleo still edge her in quick heal Imperial Privilege and her own version of Golden Rule but Sempai smash her in Np generation with passive Np Charge of 50% in five turn and may be extra 27% Vampirism that could act as support skill. In six turn Cleo got back 6000 HP and 30% Np guage with 3 turn down time. Sempai got 6000 and solid 77% gauge in the same amount of time...and 2 of her skill just finish cooling down and ready to spam The buff removal was there for a reason. Without it 2 of Sempai skill will be on Permanently allowing too recharge 10% Np bar and 1000 for all perpetuity. And Sempai didn't have one buff-removal resist...she had 2. A debuff immunity and 100% Buff removal resistance hook on her first and second skill... And that is where she work...you activate skill one Charge your Np to 100% activate skill 2 and launch your Np free demerit. Activate skill 1 again the next time it had cool down or you ready your field. If skill 1 is not available then Skill two would likely be the next turn... Time her debuff resist will and Yu demerit is non-existence...You had to time your skill with Your Np. Threw vampire into the mix to charge your Np faster cause why not and the Vampirism work with Kaleidoscope making her the one true farmer among the assassin But what Np are you spamming again...300% damage on buster with 50% power-up at NP1--it underwhelming given her damage...but she got one of the most devastating curse I have ever-seen 2000 hp curse for 5 bloody turn (10000 damage in curse) team her up with Dante and Curse will suddenly cease to be a joke (that would be a joke taking 5000 HP at for five turn and that is stack-able). In conclusion...good for a long fight with proper control support like Waver (Tama Np might make her completely ridiculous). Terrifying possibility of a curse oriented team built around and Dante will keep me up at night.

Sorta? She removes her own buff before NP and you need her 2nd skill up to prevent that so she can't really spam NP easily like Cleo. Her NP gain is also mainly from her Art and not her Quick so that's another thing you need to watch out for when using her. Cleo is still the better Buster AoE Assassin, but Yu is a SR story-locked only and not limited, so there's that.

I’m happy she’s available and stuff but I just don’t understand that ridiculous demerit on her NP. Her skills let her np easier than most but if she removes her own buffs every time then she can’t synergize with supports to wave clear properly. Even with her second skill it’s just not worth it imo. Stheno even looks more consistent now that her np got its buff. Really happy I rolled her but still, give her an interlude or strengthening to get rid of that demerit.

As long as she has that demerit she'll be one of the worst SRs in the game. It prevents her from np spamming properly and np spamming is the only thing her kit allows her to do. It's literally the biggest flaw in her kit and the one that messes up her team synergy. The resist on her second skill is of little consequence if it means making her decent.

MrDibara Maybe they knew, accepted it, and kept it under wraps in the records. I kind of have a working theory that Marisbury was told by her in private, and being the megalomaniac that he is viewed her as a valuable asset. Most likely he protected any sort of information about her being a true ancestor and/or purged any sort of data showing this. He apparently did a pretty good job for this amount of surprise. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if DW or Type Moon made that the reason as to why. Since we just dipped our foot into Melty Blood now, I'm sure a LOT more data will come to light about this. I just hope that she maintains status as an important character for later arcs like in events and maybe even story quests since we can summon her now. There's a lot of Servants in these Lostbelts that haven't been given their time to shine outside of their respective Lostbelt. Hopefully that also changes soon. I don't want one and done Consort Yu or Tamamo Vitche for example.

@@netherremains Yeah, we'll have to wait and hope that they gave us a good backstory for this one. The theory of Marisbury keeping it secret probably works, but I personally don't think he would've been too delighted to work with a True Ancestor if he knew. Remember, that kind was conceived to rule over humanity before things went South, plus the constant danger of her going berserk if she gives in to her bloodlust. So I think Marisbury would actually perceive Akuta as a real danger to his projects if he learned she was a True Ancestor. I mean, First: she's an agent of Gaia, so whatta hell is she doing getting involved in matters related to Human History? Second: again, even though she's no Arcueid, if she ever gave in to her bloodlust, literally *everyone* in Chaldea would be dead! (this prior to Mash successfully becoming a Demi-Servant) A True Ancestor releasing all restraints and just going ape-shit is pretty much rumored to be near the level of a Servant, so there would probably be no Magus in Chaldea who could stop her. I'm kinda guessing that, somehow and for whatever reasons she had, Akuta masquerated her presence as a True Ancestor. Thus, nobody (at least, back then) knew what she really was, much less what her goals were. What bugs me to no end, however, is that, if Akuta is a True Ancestor, *how the hell a mere BOMB was enough to incapacitate her?!* Like, okay, Dead Apostles *_can_* die by conventional means like bullets. That I can take. But True Ancestors? Weren't those guys supposed to be tougher? Again, Akuta is no Arcueid, but I thought she'd be able to survive an explosion of that level! _(or am I overestimating True Ancestors?)_

MrDibara There's a few plotholes sure, but for FGO they've done a good job so far making sure whatever plotholes arise are actually questions that are later answered. If she was indeed masquerading herself, the question of why and how are there as well as a few other questions that I can't wait to have answered. True, she's no Arcuid, but I do think it is possible she could be defeated if the bomb was large enough and the blast was focused enough on her. Granted, I don't know Lost Belt 3's Story well enough to perfectly justify her defeat, but by what you said if she was defeated by conventional means then it's quite possible that she wasn't as powerful as initially thought. Even a Servant isn't 100% immune to conventional weaponry if it's powerful enough. Still, hopefully future story chapters and events puts everything in perspective. After all, it took until Camelot and Babylonia before FGO had some major answered questions so I'm guessing either next Lostbelt or the one after will be that pivotal point.

Amber Valkerie They also have access to Counter Force which means they can make them always more powerful then their enemies. If she fought five servants which put together has a power value of 1000 she can access conter force to make herself 1001. The only way to beat her would be to drag her into a reality marble or get her off the planet, or in this case, kill the planet so that she cant access it.

@@shadowedge2782 I'm pretty sure that's not the case, seeing as the Counter Force is the weapon of Humanity's will (Alaya), whereas the original True Ancestor was called by the will of the planet (Gaia) to help destroy humanity. Arcueid might have it, but I'm uncertain.

This is a REALLY bad idea to remove buff for her NP, 100% buster up and 2k curse damage isn't enough to compensate this demerit I also see that she has a really weak atk (almost similar to saber lily) in compensation for her big life bar.. This is a weird choice, I can understand for support servant but it isn't the case here.. I don't know about her skillset, I see that she got a skill to prevent the buff removal but imo it's a terrible idea to depend on a skill to get to prevent that crappy demerit, plus it only last one tour so you have to wait at least 5 tours to use NP again.. Overall, I think she is on track to be one of the worst SR of the game because of those weird ideas.. This is sad for a character like her :(

You need around 2-3 turn with good card to actually fill the NP again anyway, and it remove both buff and debuff so it's much better than stun or death IMO, though I agree with her weak attack stat. But overall she is fine IMO, just treat her as farmer like Arash and Frans, and she being 1 of 2 AoE assasin with NP gauge raise her worth too.

At NP2 she barely outdamages them, but since they can more freely run supports and she can't they are still better. Her worst weakness is that since her only source of buff removal immnuity is her second skill at level 10, her NP is worthless for 5 turns after you use it unless you have buff removal resistance supports, of which only one is not a limited SSR (A Story Locked 4 star) and none of them are actual supports but DPS characters except Medea Lily. She can be decent, but it requires so much investment is mostly a whale's only option

Assassins are supposed to be close quarter combat Quick and always silent Or they can attack from afar basically like an Archer in the shadows. While her noble phantasm is cool she is too flashy to be an assassin
