Exactly what I needed to watch, moments after buying the Miniverse - thanks!

Notes for myself 1:07 New patch Oscillators 1:23 Can modify volume of each osc. Range control. Waveform select. 2:39 Other oscillators have tiny differences. Osc 2 and 3 have frequency control knobs. Osc 1 and 2 switched on, you can play intervals by changing Osc 2 freq. Double click to enter number value. Demo of offsetting osc 2 freq. 4:03 Osc 3. Has Lo freq. Instead of tri-saw it has reverse saw - a ramp down. 4:53 Osc 3 CONT button, disconnects keyboard from oscillator so you can only play one pitch. Turn it on, demo. So choose different waveforms and make a collage of sounds. Input and Noise 6:36, 6:54 White and pink noise. 7:30 Input and Overload. You could feed the synth's signal to itself to get saturation. Feedback-Sidechain switch. 8:49 Remember whatever sound is coming from the synth is what you'll feed back to the synth. 9:03 Sidechain option. It means the DAW sidechain. Another synth in the DAW playing something. Select the sidechain (the other synth in the DAW) in the Miniverse in the DAW. Now the sound from the other synth will be fed back to the Miniverse. 10:01 Demo, a combo of what's coming from the other synth and from the Miniverse oscillators. Sidechain inputs sound from another source. Loudness contour 11:00 It controls how the volume goes out of the synth. Explaining the ADS 16:44 The Release stage. Decay switch at bottom left uses your decay time as the release time as well. Decay switch off kills the release. Filter 18:44 19:14 Cutoff Frequency knob demo, cuts high frequencies. There's no dial to cut low frequencies. 19:54 Filter Emphasis is the resonance. It's a ladder filter and with them, turning the resonance up makes you lose some lows. 20:56 Filter Emphasis up full you get self-oscillation, demo. 21:19 Keyboard Control will adjust cutoff freq according to the highness/lowness of note you play. Keyboard Control switched off, it doesn't adjust the cutoff frequencies. Keyboard Control 1 is one third of an octave, Keyboard Control 2 is two thirds of an octave. Demo of resonance moving with higher notes. Keyboard Control is standard on a lot of synths. 24:13 Demo with Osc 2 on as well. 24:49 Amount of Contour. It's the cutoff modulation. Wanting a wavy modulation. Out-source it to the envelope. Amount of Contour is how much modulation will be applied to the cutoff. 27:08 Sustain. Without sustain it goes all the way back to the beginning. Modulation 28:20 Not as featured as other synths. You just get one LFO which is Osc 3, and you can modulate the pitch and cutoff. 29:17 Filter Modulation switch. Go to Controllers section to do the modulation. Modulation Mix dial. First, modulate with Noise, there's nothing going on because you need to use the Mod Wheel to do it. Filter Modulation switch allows or not the modulation to go to the cutoff frequency (and Oscillator Modulation switch off). 30:57 Modulate pitch. Oscillator Modulation on, the noise modulates the pitch. Can use Osc 3 to modulate the pitch. Oscillator Modulation off, Filter Modulation on. Osc 3 is modulating the cutoff filter. 31:57 Osc 3 is being used as an LFO when on the Lo setting, it means Low Frequency Oscillator. Osc 3 Freq knob to adjust speed. Change waveform. 33:25 Osc 3 CONT 34:07 Turn it on, lower note goes slower, higher note goes faster. Off = not controlled by what keys you press. 34:46 Modulate the speed of the LFO with the keys. Other Osc 3 range settings make it go fast. 35:39 Off, it's not being modulated by what key's pressed. Modulates the pitch of the other oscillators. 37:05 Demo with Mod wheel. 37:50 Mix with Noise Glide, Pitch mod 38:15 New patch. A-440 (tuning button), it's there so you can tune it to an A note. 39:02 Glide. Need to turn bottom left Glide switch on 40:05 Pitch wheel. Can adjust how much the pitch bends. Voices 40:32 Polyphony. Adjust knobs for cool sounds. 41:58 Limiter switch. You can still create tons of sounds with this synth's limits.

@@XNBeatsMusic Thank you. I'll get there eventually and not need to make so many notes for myself. Gonna watch more of your deep dives, you're getting a lot of watching time from me

@@striverfor7628 Looking at your notes, you have a lot of determination. You will master this is very little time. I am glad you like the videos and thanks for the comment, keep rocking like this.

Dude, this thing is absolutely great, but it needs 2-3 features more i think, Some vintage type oscilator instability function, or event stereo spread, after falling in love with the behringer poly d, id love to see a paraphonic mode to split each voice into a different key. note priority, 4th oscilator

Even if it`s looks simple I`ve learn some key things. CA tutorials are my favorite after Bitwig videos. Is there a possibility that you will break down PS-20?

Hey, man. PS-20 Maybe in future. How funny, made an Arturia MS-20 guide, in a few days there is a KORG MS-20 FS coming out. MS-20 is my favorite synth but I need a break from it. I'll be doing other CA before the PS-20 like the ARP2600 and maybe the Sines or GX-80 ( it's 60 bucks now, so maybe I'll wait for it to come down ).

@@XNBeatsMusic yeah ARP2600 or GX-80 tutorials that would be cool too! I was thinking about PS-20 because personally I like that synth, but sometimes that knobs, and modular panel is overwhelming. About sines, because this isn`t a vintage recreation, guessing that I don't really need it 😅 so my excitement is low

@@frankyfurbo396 hahaha, sines is cool. Really cool sounds. But yeah 2600 it's a must and GX-80 is going to take me a while
