XO-1 Gets new Tires and another 4s Record 134 Garmin 136 Sky RC (Time stamp in the description)

I felt the first 4s run I made with this car was too close to the original record and could have fallen into the margin of error. Since I needed to practice keeping a tighter pattern during the run I dropped back down to 4s for this pass to put more distance between the original record and what this XO-1 is actually capable of.

Thanks, yea the two GPS are not syncing on these runs but if I run them in my van the Sky RC updates extremely fast while the Garmin is slow but they will eventually lock together. I have made speedruns where they do lock but not often

Congratulations 👍🏼. Did you ever drive down the road with your gps’s and see if they match up with each other? I thought I heard a blown tire last video.

Hi Paul Thanks, yes I did test both GPS they will match up if I keep the same speed for over a second. I just recently found this road so I am being much more cautious than I would be to see how the car responds keep in mind every run I have ever made with this car was on concrete so I am used to having more traction with less powerful setups. I am at full throttle for less than two seconds the data log shows it is still accelerating at the end of the run the Garmin doesn't have a chance to catch up. on 9/11 I ran two back to back 144 mph even up passes but I am also geared very conservatively that I haven't reached the top end of the motor yet

Awesome pass she is driving beautifully congratulations 🍾 on the 4s record I have a quick question I didn’t see that there was no cap pack on the esc are you running your rcs without a cap pack great video brother can’t wait to see the next video stay safe 🤙🏼

Hi Big Joe I appreciate the comment. There is a cap pack it is hidden on the front of the ESC here is a link to my website to show how I made it www.rcgrimreaper.com/cap-page.html if you want to build one of your own the caps are 4 low ESR 1800uf 35v capacitors in parallel I hope that helps
