The reason was that my wife and some friends told me that it is complacent to be on KZbin and receive all these flattering comments like a diva. I believe they were right. They told me that instead of being employed here and there for peanuts, and being self-idulgent in my leisurely guitar playing, I should find a decent job and bring back money and food. I believe they were right too. So, I had originally decided to quit my KZbin channel and start looking for a job as long as I am still able to do this in my late forties. Guitar playing was the fruit of unemployment after all.On the other hand, many people liked my little videos, and it would be rude and selfish to deprive them of listening or using these videos in their own channels or websites. After all being a little creative is not officially a fatal crime in the industrial, capitalist world. So, I didn't know what to do. I feel guilty when I play the guitar. I have to play in secret less and less. Guitar not only makes no money, but also consumes a lot of my time and feeds my ego. It is more and more difficult to keep the refrigerator full these days. It is even more difficult being a music making parasite at home. Please do not misunderstand me when I disable all comments or take down some arrogant videos. I may upload a video in the future, but not to show off. My motive to upload a video is to help others play the same piece by looking at my fingering and perhaps find my expression of some interest.
