Loved the video @Æxomania! Can't wait for the next video man! Battleship was USS Missouri's Second Film on the Silver Screen, the First being the 1989, R Rated, Stephen Segal movie "Under Seige". I actually loved both movies, though I wish there was one where All 4 Iowa-class Battleships were involved or even the USS North Carolina of the North Carolina-class Battleships, and the South Dakota-class Battleships USS Alabama and USS Massachusetts were with them.

Ok so the explosion part is somewhat possible due to the Iowa 16 inch gun that fire the super heavy shell (2,700-pound) plus her duel 5inch guns which there are 6 on each side soooo is possible to make large enough explosion, not only that Iowa class battleship were mostly use for escort to defend from enemy battleship or cruiser and was also used for shore bombardment so again is possible to cause large detonation (this is really just a rant couldnt help it Iwoa class Battleship are among my favorite class of Battleship)
