I never thought this about any NRS game before MK1 came out. But I’ve never seen the pro/competitive scene have an effect on the entire player base in this fashion. The ONLY THING I see in Kombat league is Baraka,Raiden, Johnny paired with Cyrax. Hell I don’t even see Smoke, Lao, or Kenshi and they are really solid. Does anyone agree or disagree. (I’m genuinely asking and want a good feedback from this and counter points)

I think for nrs especially people tend to lean more towards the can't beat em join em mentality. Like we can obviously see that alot of character combinations work at high level with enough practice and knowledge. But why put in the actual work with your character when it's easier to cry for nerfs and pick up the strong characters with a prebaked gameplan (not saying Cyrax don't need an adjustment cause gawd dammn that chip😂). Alot of the time for people it's just about winning the game they playing not necessarily enjoying it

I think because it's an assist style game and nrs players aren't really familiar with that style of game.

I think it's an over reaction I have seen johnny with a lot of assists I play johnny with sub I don't really play against Baraka almost at all I do see a lot of the Raiden Jax tho

Also I'm demi God didn't want to grind for God since ranked isn't per character unfortunately. I think the only characters I never see are nitara reptile and geras I think if nitara and geras had full 1k hp u would see them more and reptile is kinda in this spot where he just doesn't feel really fun to play at least to me

Even with top one still lose,sonicfox is way better than ninja and also winning with raiden means nothing
