I think you can, but the normal Bluetooth may not match the xp speed.

As for the Prices in South africa the ws6 cost about 375 Euros , the wsa2 about 150 euros ..about the coil i don't know...... any information ?

Ground balance: Do you press the button once and let go or do you keep your finger on the button until the machine has balanced?

Gary, question? I used multi tones on my Deus most of the time, reminds me of my favorite tone ID machine from the past, (teknetics Mark One). Do you use zero disc in multi tones since the iron tends to grunt (low tone) or do you add a small amount of discrimination to keep iron from trying to bleed through? So asking I’d Deus 2 behaves the same way, so whatever settings you use, transfers nicely to the Deus 2? My beach trip was canceled, so now just waiting for the detectors to get hear from across the big pond, then if all is well, I will have it for a week of beach hunting in NC, thanks

Hi Jerry, you can use -6.4 discrimination in full tones, but in the other tones you need disc, the iron sound comes in below the rejected range.

Gary, follow up, as a general rule, less discrimination transfers to better depth as a general rule of thumb in our ground, mild to moderate except in Culpepper, etc. So in Theory, would full tones -6.4 discrimination, be deeper than a 3 tone with 5 discrimination for example? I love full tones too. Deus is the only high tech machine with analog like tones. Every other detector that’s digital, has no nuance’s like it, hard to explain but you’re the Deus master, so bet you know EXACTLY what I mean. Ask them to rush my Deus 2 please, lol and thanks for all you do. Especially in answering questions, you must get 100’s?

Big fan of your videos and the xp deus 1. I am considering buying the deus 2 but not sure which coil, 11" or 9"? I am a South Florida beach hunter in and out of the surf. Currently I have two 9" coils for the deus 1, and they work fine but I could use a little more ground coverage if I choose the 11" coil or would it be too difficult to swing in the surf. Any advice? The RC is the master, dominant with programs and features. Turn it off and the headphones become the master with their own custom programs if they are installed

If all you can access is the volumes it is paired. Turn off your RC and the menus should appear

Hi Gary, I am trying to save programs on my WS6. It is not paired to a remote. It is paired to my 9”coil. I make all the changes I want to a program and then press the Options button, bottom left on the WS6, scroll down to Programs, long press and Save shows up on the display. I then press the down button and nothing happens…………. I just assumed pressing that short click down button would take me to the unused slots and then to the enter the name and valid page……I never get to any of that. If I press the long press down button I see “Replace B” with an X bottom left and a check mark bottom right. What am I doing wrong????? Hold on…..I was trying to save a modified Deus Mono program and now as I scroll through I see an extra Deus mono Pr7 with a little user profile Icon. That seems to be my saved program!!!!! Can I make multiples for each program or just one for each program……? Thanks, Jeff McClendon

All I can suggest is double check the serial numbers. Sometimes a D is an O and 8 is a B. The font they use is not very clear.
