Whilst I've not used this program in a park I have played around with various settings with good effect. I'm also getting back into the square tone and enjoying it. Once again Gaz a a well presented tutorial mate. 👌

Hi Gary, the program series is helpful to a new Deus 2 user like me, I have owned my Deys 1 about 7 years. Can you estimate what US coin your 6 pence test coin is closest to? We dont know English coins over here, except old King George's I dig from the 1700's. Thanks.

Been using my Deus 2 for 6 months. I love it. However, the WS6 back phones are junk. They are flimsy and cheap and entirely stopped making sound yesterday. It’s nonsense and I think we should get a deal on the upgraded headphones for $1500 detector.

Please make sure the module is securely clipped into the headphone band.

@@The-skillschool I have tried everything. One day I messed with the volume a few minutes and it finally worked. The last time I got a couple responses and it quit entirely. Tried re-paring it, cycling it off and on , different settings and tones. No sounds comes out now.

Hi Gary, if you need a comparison with my old detector (1974). : It finds a DIME (92% copper, 8% nickel 18mm diameter and 1.35mm thickness) at 15cm depth (6 inches).

Thanks DC, that's good news for the D2. FMF allows you to get a more accurate target analysis compared to single frequency. Rejecting B caps and wet sand are the biggest advantages.

Interesting thoughts, however I really enjoy tweaking my detector and finding that sweet spot where the detector is completely in harmony with its surroundings,,, I find it challenging, a bit like solving a crossword puzzle.

You have a valid point, but I think the detecting world has now changed.

You can just switch on and go that's why they have preset programs. Use them and tune your ears to the tones. Another good vid Gary 👍
