Great help I got right in on update no wait downloaded fast and easy but could not get my wsa2xl headphones to operate even after updating them ,even with all the help from everyone. I think my daughter figured it out .I had 2 coils slot by mistake was in coil 2 slot move it to slot 1 and I think that when they started working took about 2 hours of going through everything. Great improvement for the ws6master thanks everyone for there help and suggestions and advice. 3:05 3:05

I tried to update this morning and realized Europe is awake and probably jamming the system. So I waited until about 5pm central time which was late in Europe. I must tell you this has been the easiest update I have ever done. No problems whatsoever

I just updated my machine, and I do have WS6,. I never use the WS6 becuz it doesn't a exterior speaker in it and now I can not find it... lol

@SRA. Yesterday I updated my remote and ws6 but my wsa2xl’s would not update. It kept saying my computer couldn’t read it at the end of update. So I couldn’t click on it to transfer over. Any suggestions please? Thank you for all your videos.

I tried to update wsa2xl headphones and it erased the old program, but wouldn't upload new software. Now they won't turn on or off. Just a slow flashing light.

Let me know if that’s works. Make sure you are using a USB data cable to update as well. Hopefully you get them working . Keep me posted

What about updating the WSAIIXL headphones when you are already on version 2 on the RC ? I am being told I need to update the headset itself but its not obvious how

Yes you have to have headphones and RC on the same version 👍

@@southernrelicadventures GREAT WHERE ARE THE INSTRUCTIONS TO UPDATE. ONLY WS6 BASED INSTRUCTIONS EXIST. WS6 has 4 buttons, 3 of which are used in update WSAllXL only has 2 buttons??

Well here we go again I'm afraid to even upgrade anything at this point just got used to the old stuff unless it's going to make a huge difference on the beach is there any performance increase like getting deeper does anyone know that yet😅

The update is a major upgrade. You should see some better depth as well as better audio and target ID. Its worth it.

When I went to update, it locked my master in the update screen and did not show it had done anything. Then kept showing it did not recognize the device. Would not even power down. Went back to the older updater and it reloaded .71 and unlocked it.

Terry watch the video from Gary Blackwell on the update procedure and follow each screen as stated on your PC when you get to the update screen you have to long press on the cog wheel you should see confirm update and you select the check , then you will see just Update appear on the screen, at that point plug your WS6 into your pc it should recognize it then. I did 3 machines tonight with no trouble at all. The first time I did it I didn’t know to long press once I got it on the update screen sounds like you might have done the same thing. I have a XP Deus 2 WS6 Master and updated it but now my WSA2 headphone doesn't work anymore. I try to find information how to update this headphone but i can't find anything. Does anyone knows how to update the WSA2 headphone? All help is welcome.
