I used this on the Deus 1 yesterday on pasture and it worked perfectly for the site I was on! I had 8 toasted coppers a William iii silver crown, William iii silver sixpence, silver plated livery button and a medieval seal matrix! Buzzing thanks mate!

Thanks for this. Very helpful and the best video I have seen so far. I liked that way you explain the reasons for the setting and more importantly, the effects you get if the settings are varied. Most videos just explain how to do the settings and not what happens if you vary them a little. Great work!

Nice one Sid and I have been using the Deus Hot Prog for a while and double checking the odd find with Deep on 12k etc. I also find coil size matters too as I have searched an area with my 11" finding loads real low and slow and then taken my 9" over the same area and found even more. Many people don’t know this, but the deus does have a target depth gauge, it’s the horseshoe...the more of it that’s blacked the more shallow the target is ....so if you get that tiny black bit at the top it’s a deeper target . 👍🏻

Ghost still have the deus but keep picking the nox up... the deus is sooo user friendly and still a brilliant machine but i feel the nox has a slight edge in overall performance

It was a toss up between the deus and the nox, but after 35 years spraying cars my arm wants something light to swing so opted for the deus . I’ll give it a month , if it dosnt perform as good as my T2 I’ll be changing. Hi Sid. Been using the hammy programme to great effect over the last 6 months or so. Thanks for sharing. I have a question though. I’ve just invested in a 9” HF coil and am curious what frequency you’d recommend running the hammy programme on? I know you say 17 on the vid but the HF coil can get right up to 54 odd. I think that’s maybe that’s a bit too high though and I’m thinking 28ish is about where I should be with this coil but interested in your thoughts. Cheers. Ian

You can use 3 if very stable as you will get more power, disadvantage is the battery will run down faster...

Different coils have different parameters.. use the 26 it will help get in amongst the iron 👍🏼👍🏼

Thanks Sid but can you explain something for me? With the first two tones at 200 and 202, surely they will sound so close that your basically going to cancel out anything 28 or under? I don't understand the need for both? Sorry if I have miss-understood something. ATB MMMD

If you know anyone with a full deus they can add your coil to there controller and then can add any programme… then when back on your lite your have the programmes

i only preferred hot as a base because it had the same workings as v3.2 but its mainly preference.. for me the 3.2 seemed to suit me better... but what ever works for you is good mate (y)

From 'hot' Gb 88 Disc 0 5 tones, 200,202,267,800,862 Tone breaks at 267-10 ...800-32...862...76 Sens 96 tx3 Freq 18 Iron 1 React 2 silencer -1 Audio 5 Save as fox. Works well , give it a go for 15 mins and let me know any downsides you think 👍

My mate is running on 5.2 I am on 4.1 The 2 machines behave differently with this program . I have looked back through you old vid's and it gives the same settings for both platforms. The program appears to perform better on 4.1 Your thoughts please?

Use the base programme hot on 5.2... i found 3.2 was the best version for me but unable to use new coils and pinpointer

keith hollinhead what is your discrim set at??? If set to -4 or more you will get lots of chatter

keith hollinhead also try a expert frequency shift from say 17.7 to 17.4 ect just a little shift can help balance the deus up, even changing to a lower khz can help or a different recovery speed... also look at your mineralisation bar... if above half way you’re on highly mineralised ground and a ground balance is needed... there can be many different reasons behind chatter so hard to for sure whats causing yours
