My strategy on autofarming in S3 levels is to place dispelling healers of different colors at both sides. Additionally I have a strong debuffer, an all enemies damage dealer and a strong single damage dealer. My actual team is: Rigard, Grimm, Azlar, Sonya Costume, Vivica, which works pretty well at S3:10-10.

@@EmpiresandPuzzlesBooks I'm thinking I'll still use world flasks and loot tickets for S2 27-9 Hard during Atlantis Rises cuz I'm only on S3 province 4 on hard. You are saying that S3 final level on hard is best outside of Valhalla Forever with Omni harvester, so I'll consider that once I finish S3 hard. During Valhalla Forever, I'll do S3 10-10 on NORMAL but I won't use loot tickets (I'll save those for Atlantis Rises on the aforementioned level). Hope this strategy makes sense.

Made really good sense, i`m a cheap to play player. And i really used the advice on your first xp video. And maximized my xp per flag that way. And after 1 year and about 7 months. Im at lvl 74. And have 54 WE. Its just too bad im stuck with mostly S. 1 heroes, since i dont pay for diamonds. Thx for great advice. Hardcore grinder Sneakiii in game !

Great analysis, thank you! I am a relatively new player (3 months - level 32) and since my hero roster is underdeveloped I try a combination of farming for XP and backpacks (per flag). I am curious if anyone has recommendations what to farm to balance those two outside Atlantis Rises and Valhalla Forever. During Valhalla Forever I realised that for my current capacity for autobattles, S3.1.3N is the best and I use loot tickets for S3.10.10N.

I use a combination of a healer that can boost past 100% health (garnet/gulli/heim etc) and a strong minion hero (or heroes) to auto farm s3 levels. That seems to work well for me, but I'm sure there is a threshold for how far into the season I can autfarm with this equation. Cheers.

I like to autoplay a lot and I think Ihave developed a great team for it. I use a Vivica for the cleanse and extra def, a Gullinbursti for the extra hp and the passive extra damage. Then I have santa for minions and the attk down. Combined with more minions with Noor and finally a Natalya for steady damage I have find out this combination to help me to even go through Valhalla on hard with few problems. Actually just the skelleton Gashadokuro, but aside of that and the bosses obviously, it's a great strategy to combine minions+extra hp+def up+atk down. It helps a lot for autoplay. Sorry for bad grammar, I'm not a native English speaker.

I get this request frequently and haven't obliged as I am not sure which measure each player would find valuable. I certainly do not look at the quests from an XP only perspective. As I flask often, I simply complete all quests, but maybe it is a worthwhile endeavor to find the "value" in the quests.

I have been doing this a long time so I have plenty of everything at the moment. I would suggest running another TC11 instead of TC2 for a few weeks. That way you can accrue enough backpacks to keep TC2 running. Players often think the issue is not finding backpacks when the issues is the spend rate! haha If we simply stop using a resource for a while, it will start to stock up and we can start spending again.

Season 3, 1/3 normal gives 2150 for 3 flags during Valhalla event. Is that 718 per flag? Easy auto farm as well when out of loot tickets.

Yes, I have to look at this math a bit closer as time is still important to me. Valhalla Forever is only so many hours long. For me, I am getting 3/1/3 Hard done in 3 minutes per fight versus 3/1/3 N that is 2 per fight. So in 6-7 minutes I can get 7,370 XP from Hard compared to 6,450 from Normal. The XP/flag costs are terrific for Normal, but multiplying the speed difference over a few days is a massive advantage to Hard (for me).

So the take-home message for XP speed farming is: AR - 2.1.1N or 2.9.9/10N VF - 3.1.3H, or challenging - 3.10.10N Loot tickets: 3.36.10H (with harvester / non-VF ... although, you can use during VF if food and iron is not an issue?) All other times - 3.1.3H, or novice - 1.20.4 Correct?

As of two updates ago the harvesters work in all 3 seasons, but nor during Rises and Forever. Please check out the details on the harvesters. I assure you, I just used the omni harvester + loot tickets in S3 before I made this video. The autofarm team matters to me because I want a team that can farm as fast as possible so I can get the most farming in a day.

@@Talkin_Sht I do not have vids on it, but like any other part of the game, using strong colors against the enemies will do more damage which speeds things up, using faster speed heroes speeds things up, and good team synergy speeds things up. My primary farming team for S3 is Black Knight (protection and big boost to attack), Frigg for fast attack that hits everyone and gives defense down, C Elkanen for a fast hit that hits most enemies, Mitsuko for killing their mana and reflecting Ice bosses, and Ariel for healing and huge boost to mana to speed up everything.

I am not aware of any scale that shows power needed by level. It can be frustrating to advance too far and lose out on a WE flag.

@@EmpiresandPuzzlesBooks I know for sure Season 2-1,1 on Hard is not possible for me even with items. Season 2-1,1 normal on the other hand I reliably beat which is my current farming spot. I forget the names though my team is a 2 star purple (maxed), 2 star red (maxed), 3 star yellow (maxed), 3 star green (maxed) and a 4 star blue named Boril (level 50). My team is not very well thought out. It consists of a aoe which hits one target then minor damage to the units around the target, a poison damage over time single target, a +48% attack buff shaman, a negative accuracy down debuff single target unit and a tank which reflects damage.

Hi, I farmed Season 3, Province 10, Stage 10 during Valhalla Forever with Frigg-Gregorion-Malosi-Zimkita-Delilah (all with emblems). I did this level almost 500 times to gain over 1,000,000 XP. I have not died once during autoplay but it was close once (I saw fragments of finishes sometimes). It is not the best stage for Midgard Gnomes though. Before I started farming this stage I did 36-10 on normal 54 times and killed 15 Gnomes (once every 3,5 runs). During the 500 times in 3-10-10 I killed another 33 Gnomes (once every 15 runs) so there is a huge difference. It does not matter much because the number of Gnomes is limited so it actually worked just fine. I would not like to farm when there would be any more Gnomes. The XP I gained during Valhalla Forever is the most I ever gained during a 4 day event.

Like you said, for the time of atlantis raissing and valhala forever I play 9-9-2 and 9-9-3. In the meantime, I play 20-3-1, due to the time for the flag. At autoplay 20-3-1- it takes about 2 minutes and I can play without healers. It’s faster because you only use attackers. 20-4-1, however, is about half a minute to a minute longer and also a little more annoying monsters. For a while I farmed 9-9-3 but it doesn’t worth it because of the time for flag.

We can get more flasks in the in-game shop. For me, I continually get more flasks to continue farming. This is not an option for F2P, and some C2P, so for t hose players it is even more important (IMO) to efficiently farm for XP to increase their "value" of WE flasks. I don't estimate how much I spend on entertainment any more than I estimate how much I spend on dinner out in restaurants.

The question asked above is how much I spend every month and I do not add that up for restaurants or the game. My wife and I eat out often and we spend as we wish on the game. As for my record keeping in the game, I log data that is strategically interesting. Dollars spent has not strategic value for me so it is not something I would both logging.

All other things being equal, how much you spend on the game (gems, flasks) is by far the single most important strategic factor in the game giving you an advantage in the game. It makes the difference between stopping the game short (and therefore limiting your ability to increase XP over time) or playing continuously throughout the day.

If you're F2P the best place to farm is legacy challenge events. Specifically the Rare stage 3 where it costs 1 WE to play. It's slow (around a minute per play) but you gain 9xx xp per WE. You also don't gain any food or iron but if you're F2P that's usually not a concern at the start.

One more point to 23-11. Actually it is the best XP/time but forget autoplaying that. When you want to do it under one minute every time (or almost every time) you have to play it manually of course. Just bring mono yellow team with Wu or Ranvir and Jackal and it is super fast. You shall be able to do close or up to 100,000 XP in an hour (36 runs). This might be the best farming stage for F2P players since you do just one full energy and don't buy refill immediately so you won't mind the manual play that much. For us on high levels, we cannot really afford to play anything manually but I do this stage from time to time when it is my last refill or just before I call it a day.

I auto farm S3 10-9 instead of 10-10 because they don't stop my mana. I then use 4 green and 1 yellow healer. When I got Lady of the Lake I found that she lets me auto farm most levels since she is able to stop the boss from firing.

I am now above level 140 so there is no way to level up in a week any more. It is now 10-12 days or so. I am not sure how many WE flasks I get each day, but with 91 WE flags, they last pretty good.

I just started using Gullinbursti, Heim, Elkanen, Freya, and Viv for autoplaying 10/10 and so far so good. It's slow, but I don't lose heroes and they mostly keep each other alive with the skills they have. Tile damage FTW! I got through most of Valhalla autoplaying with Vela, Heimdall, Elena, Isarnia, and Vivica. Heimdall's extra health boost gives a big cushion, and with Elena, the harder the enemies hit, the more quickly they go down.

A budget friendly team for season 3 10-10 autofarm is Proteus, Brynhild, Almur, Little John, Sabina. You just have to watch it every now and then especially during the boss fight. You can mess with that team, probably Costume Rigard would be great instead of Sabina or maybe another Proteus. Maybe you could try and go with Counterattacks but I don't think it would work cause of these blue annoying monsters that stop your mana.

With S4 finished now you can get during the Underwild event 813,33xp per flag at stage 10.8, 10.9 and 10.10 easy. Stage 10.9 has only 3 levels so is the fastest for xp farming.

I've been playing just over 3 months and haven't finished S2 yet. I'm on S2:21-7. However I'm not progressing much, as I'm usually farming lower levels like S1:20-4. I have 370 loot tickets. As it'll be a long time for me to get to S2:36-10, would you still recommend holding on to them or using them on e.g. S1:23-11 to boost a few levels? TY!

You did not mention if it was S2 21 7 NORMAL or HARD. If it is hard, then definitely on that level. Not a stupide question at all. We all needed to learn it sometime. At the top right of the screen, there is an "auto" button next to the flee button. Make sure you have a team that is strong enough to beat the level you want to farm.

I compete in the monthly challenge events, Ninja Tower, and hit +300K every day on 14* Titans. I consume battle items so iron is always needed. I also do serious troop leveling that requires infinite food .... and 3 sizes of mana production.

Have you ever counted how many times you had to spend 100 gems in order to get that high? That’s my biggest ceiling and one that isn’t often talked about. The gem cost benefit ratio for a f2p or c2p player makes really farming xp extensively hard. Maxing free flags for xp without spending gems is a balancing act.

I change season 3 auto farming teams based on the boss - so on S3 P10 Lvl 10 - I would do Gazelle, Heimdall, Hel, Kingston, and francine. I know everyone doesn't have these heros but I've not had a single round where autofarming failed with combos like this. I typically always use hel, try to bring a healer (costume viv, heimdall, or ariel) and 3 of strong colors against boss. So if boss is purple, gazelle is already part of the 3 which opens who else you can bring like a santa who was crucial in me getting through season 3 hard

I have been able to auto farm S3: 8-9 Hard, for 391.5 XP per flag with the following team: Costume Rigard(not in costume emblemed to 20), Almur (emblemed to 20) Kingston(emblemed to 11), Lady of the Lake (emblemed to 20) and Gullinbursti(emblemed to 20). Every now and then having to save the game but is very rarely. Always bring in Revive Scrolls just in case you have to revive a dead hero. Again rarely happens. Hope this helps.

Thanks Joe. The question for me is how fast can it be farmed? Farming a higher level will give me more XP per flag, but what about XP per time? I am looking for max XP I can gain quickly.

Nice video, I am only now starting to understand the importance of loot tickets per XP. I always thought loot tickets were great for 9/10 Atlantis. Same goes as the last level of Season 1. Its still the best for XP per flag but not the best for XP per loot ticket!

Just a heads up notice, I am at player level 138 and received an inbox message from SG today, indicating "suspicious activity" on my account. Apparently they suspect I am using a bot (or, equivalent) in the game and threatened to suspend my account if further "suspicious activity" continues. As I am not using any form of bot program, I'm guessing we cannot farm massive daily XP anymore (I suspect the huge XP per time is driving their speculation)? Really disappointed in SG - and given my investment in the game- hesitate to do excessive XP farming in a given day anymore.

I appreciate all your work and statistical analysis of the game BUT I need to state these methods are only for pay to win players and not ftp or ctp players. My reasoning is two fold and I will use my account stats as an example: I am currently level 75 with 54WE/flask. I do not spend gems on refills. If I use every flag daily that can regenerate I will have 144 flags to use. I can do 1:20:4 24 times a day. It will take me approximately 1,773,000 xp to level up or almost 33 days. In order to get that down to 10 days I will need to use gems to refill. I will need to triple my WE per day. Here is point one. It will take approximately 6000 gems towards WE refills in those 10 days to achieve this. That is crazy expensive. My second point stems off of this. WE flags are not infinite unless you spend crazy amounts of gems. With finite resources, I need to more carefully farm resources or I will not be able to fulfill my standards for titans on a daily basis. I am currently always looking for leather strips and large bones for mana potions (backpacks are set with AR) if I farmed the 1:20:4 daily instead of focusing on the best location for resources I would be out of resources completely. For large bones I would only yield 8.6 bones per day. If I farm 9-1, with the same amount of WE I can yield 28.8 bones per day. This is similar with other times. In short while this is all fascinating and great that you can do this, there needs to be a disclaimer that unless you are willing to spend endless gems to create an infinite number of WE then this method should not be utilized. There shouldn't be such high expectations set without this disclaimer. Players will be extremely disappointed when they realize the truth and are letting their alliance members down daily with titans due to lack of resources.

I appreciate the perspective, but kindly disagree. 1. There is no "pay to win" and, frankly, I resent the phrase. Spending money here doesn't "buy" a win any more than buying the fastest car guaranteeing a win. One still needs to know how to drive it to make it go. "Pay to win" is an unpleasant way to take a jab at and/or discount other players. Pay to play is much more appropriate. 2. If one has less resources (as in F2P or C2P), then it is even more important IMO to maximize the value of the WE flask. 3. This game is a lot about resource management. If a player is not gaining the needed materials to keep up with an alliance's titan, then I would suggest they are in the wrong alliance. This is no different that the players that scramble to find backpacks to keep TCs running. They are not failing to find backpacks. They are failing at resource management. If you do not have enough packs coming in, then run a different TC. 4. Lastly, this response assumes that I was always gemming flasks. I didn't really start doing that until I was nearly at level 95-100. I started XP farming around level 30 or 31. It was very early on and I was not spending nearly as much. That said, I know these methods can work for F2P/C2P. 5. I receive tons of positive feedback from F2P/C2P that switched to XP Farming with great success.

Perhaps I'm missing something then. Daily I can only have 144 WE flags total with the 10 minute regeneration time. Even if I could farm the rare event stage every day. It would take 12 days to level. The only way to level in less than 10 days is to gem or flask. And at that rate, WE flashing is still like gemming. You are still using money to buy flasks (whether via gems or directly through real currency) Is there another variable in the equation that I am not considering? Right now the math just doesn't add up to me.

That is stating very high expectations. Thank you for these videos! The informations in this one aren’t new for most serious players, but your explanations are very interesting! However I want to criticize your reasoning for the initial decision to powerlevel. If you need/want the ressources, of course you have to autofarm a lot. But increasing the energy flasks output is a very small gain compared to the huge amount of gems you have to invest for it. The only free energy a player can get is 1 every 10 minutes which is true for every single player. And the world energy flasks you can get as loot. When you get all possible flasks from events, chests, titans, ads… you still won’t get more than maybe 20 a month? Let’s be generous and say you get one per day. Then you’re investing thousands of dollars (you probably know better how much it is…) to increase the output of a flask by maybe 30% or speaking in dollars 30c a day! While doing that you burn through at least tens of energy refills a day. I chose the 30% because if you would have used all your energy efficiently and additionally bought refills you actually need for ressources, you would have also reached an estimated Lvl 100, you cannot compare your 88 energy with a new account… That being said, I fully understand that when money doesn’t matter, it makes sense to farm for as much food as timely possible and I also understand that you enjoy being the world’s leading player in an aspect of the game. (personally I’m one of the leading emblem owners, at least I probably was the first player with double maxed barbarians (Gravemaker/Kageburado) and didn’t stop trying to get every single possible emblem. It also doesn’t make sense to buy even bad goblin balloons and pay for additional shards in the alchemy lab at a bad price or to sometimes stay awake a bit longer just for being able to get another mystic vision just for staying on top…) Do you have an idea on how it is possible that this player from 1st Family of Korea suddenly reached Lvl 149? Was he just levelling “well hidden” from the public eye or is there a trick or even cheat he could have used?

Your points are fair, but I would say that my 88 flags did not come over night, but over a period of 2 years-like a savings account. Yes, that was still an accelerated rate as I am P2P, but I would propose my argument for XP farming is even more important for F2P/C2P as every extra flag is extremely valuable to them! As for the Korean, and I would love to be proven wrong, I do not see any way mathematically they can be leveling every 2-3 days at the level we are, within the rules of the user agreement. It took me 55 days to go from 127 to 134. They did it in 26 days. I autofarm 3/1/3 Hard for16-18 hours per day.

@@Mortegra99 I used "they" as I do not know the sex/gender of the player and I chose a gender-neutral term. Sharing accounts is also against the user agreement (AFAIK) so that still is not a fair way to be doing this. Regardless, some of the leveling the has occurred on that account in the last few weeks is not explainable by round-the-clock leveling-unless there is some magical team on a magical level that can really take down XP faster than I have been able to in a ton of testing I have ton. If that is the case, I would love to see that team/level and be proven wrong.

Ok, today I decided, with a free day, 200+ loot tickets, and roughly 65 energy flasks, that I would omniharvest s3-36-10H. I've flipped the wanted chest as much as it would let me, and leveled up. But what on earth do you do with all the recruits!?!? I'm still out of food because I've got more recruits than I know what to do with!

Just finished for today. Going in, I was more concerned about having enough loot tix to last a day of omniharvest autoplays. I stopped with 5 flasks and 34 loot tickets left (didn't want to leave myself without any flasks), so about even. I think I've tipped the balance as far as ever needing to farm for recruits (hopefully), and so I'll not worry about the full house and allow more food to build up. Got lots and lots of good loot, and already 65% toward leveling again. So thank you for this great video, and for sharing your wisdom with the game community!

So 36/10 hard with loot ticket is only worth while if you are trying to get XP fast and don’t care about the XP to flag ratio? 4,995 / 16 is only 312 per flag compared to 10/10 during VFE 2370 / 3 is 790 per flag. I’m cheap to play so have been auto-farming 10/10 (not fast but haven’t failed) Team is Puss N Boots, Gullinbursti, Buddy, Bai Yeong and Bera - just have game going in the background while I go about my day.
