xpeng G6 will be my only car in section shld i opted for EV. Its not this car is smart looking, but bcos its designed with curving frames and very minimalism lines and streamlined lights, it will still looking stunning 5 to 20 yra down the road.
i think that right side blind spot camera display at the infotainment screen is not quite good.. usually we will turn according by our head face right side or left side.. try to imagine when u driving to turn right but your head is facing left, this is so awkward.. i guess this is why Honda Lane Watch only display left side but not right side because they did consider about this factor.. so far the best BSM display i see is from Hyundai & Kia, from the dashboard front display..
Hi there, sharing my thoughts as we might be going through the same process : - Autopilot is one of the key factors for me in selecting an EV. - I prefer SUV EV - Do note I’m okay with Tesla minimalism design concept. I like the techs Assuming you’re using Tesla autopilot (the free version) as benchmark, here’s my POV from the test drive : 1. XPeng : No autosteer (or me/SA don’t know how to make that happen) 2. With that, I felt the Malaysia version of XPeng is closer to the conventional ADAS 3. SA told me no LiDARs, it was spec down for Malaysia market. In China, XPeng’s autonomous/autopilot system is equivalent/on par to Tesla. Sad to see its spec down here. 4. I’m a heavy user of ACC, and was impressed by Tesla’s autopilot (free version). 5. For my needs, autopilot/ICC was the only setback from XPeng. Other than that, it’s a very good car with great value proposition and I was truly attracted. 6. I’ve also tried BYD Sealion. It’s also closer to conventional autopilot. 7. For “autopilot” perspective, I would rank : Tesla Model Y > XPeng G6 > BYD Sealion 8. With that said, I would wait for facelift model Y (juniper) for comparison. Likely Q1 2025. Current version looks dated (after seeing refreshed model 3)
