Thanks Kris to bring us the XPeng G9 !! It's an amazing EV SUV, for me the best for it's price. Getting a premium, performance, eficient and fast charging EV. My honest opinion, would be the only SUV I would buy in Europe. Hopefully, you could test it againg in summer Kris !! Greetiings :)

in europe the mode is old one, in china the maximum range from 2024 xpeng g9 is 702km WLTP, the price range is between 263900 and 359900 cny, convert to euro is 34351,66 to 46847,91 euro

12:16 WLTP max speed 131 km/h, average speed about 47 km/h at 23 degrees C iirc. 🤓

Nice one Kris, in your rewiv you might want to test the backseat compared to other class cars? only saw it in video buy´t it looks more like a 4 seater than a 5 seater as the midle seat actualy aint a seat or what do you think, looking forward to see the rewiv aswell.

I‘m curious whether Xpeng will bring X9 to Europe or not… A BEV-Van with impressive space, 800V charging and rear wheel steering, is there any close competitors?

They are in many European countries already, and arriving in France and Italy this year, in Great Britain probably too if this Island does not want to play alone after having sold quite all automobiles brands they had...

The Xpeng G9 is since October 2023 in The Netherlands. Somebody at the school of my children drives one. A white color exterior, would not recommend that 😀

It is not the Chinese Audi, it is much better! Volkswagen bought only 5% of Xpeng Motors because they need their help in technologies improvements and development... Audi is the brand which uses old certified technologies of the Volkswagen Group, and which are sold at an expensive price... Xpeng Motors is more like BMW Group, in advance, inventing new technologies...

This car is really bad on northern Norwegian winter roads, whether it is a SW problem or it is the AWD system is unclear. But it's not a car I would buy.I drive a Tesla Model Y performance with studless winter tires, and it has insanely much better grip than what the G9 has even with studded tires. I have a Volvo EX90 on order, and alltought it’s 40k € more here in Norway i think it’s going to be a way better car.

​@@erikdrost3376Of course! I feel that the AWD system is extremely slow to engage when it lets go in a corner, for example. The stability control is also very slow to react, the car feels very unsafe and shacky on winter roads. The car has a tendency to lose grip in corners which when I drove my Tesla right after it did just fine! I've test driven just about every new electric car you can get your hands on, and this one is very similar to all other Chinese cars. This is not something I would spend that much money on.

@@BabyKermit_I disagree with you completely, I found it very stable, it’s also incredibly well built, easily as well built as any Volvo built today. Chris is right it’s the best Chinese car I’ve driven and that includes Polestar. It’s right up there with the Q8, EQE SUV (really awful plastics) and a touch behind the BMW iX.

@@MasterChief37 So where do you live and what kind of roads do you usually drive on? And do you really think the infotainment system is good enough? I've had the Polestar 2, and that is a FAR supperior car than the Xpeng G9.

@@BabyKermit_ I live in Norway, in a semi rural area, and drive country roads daily. I tried the XPeng in Trondheim. I thought it was a very polished and competent car. It’s a big step up from the Polestar 2, it’s a Polestar 3 competitor with faster charging and a nicer interior. If I hadn’t already bought an iX I would have saved some NOKs and bought the XPeng. I tried the dual motor Polestar 2 before I bought the iX, it’s an inferior vehicle, it small, it’s not screwed together very well, the black plastic trim was scratched badly, this was a demo car with 1500km on it. It didn’t feel solid. I love Volvos, one of the best cars I’ve ever owned was a Volvo, it wasn’t the most expensive but it was a really good solid comfortable car, I loved the look, the D5 diesel engine was monster. They don’t build them as well as they used to.
