If they will build up a service network here in Europe and start importing, I don't see a chance for any other non Chinese manufacturer. I just ordered a South Korean EV and am impressed about their quality and the amount of sales they do even here in Germany, the formerly holy grail of quality cars which don't offer as much warranty as the Asians do. That doesn't really underline trust in their own German quality, which is one of the reasons I turned towards South Korean cars, because I simply like the car to be long term reliable, modern, safe and inexpensive! It is super interesting to see how far they are and we seem to be a point now were we have to copy from China and not the other way around. But even then we will never have this cheap labor and in order to stay an economically and humanitarian healthy country, we may have to rely on peoples national ideology and pay more for a car that gives you less just in order to maintain the survival of the local/countries economy. I wonder if the average Chinese gets wealthier and more spoiled from life they might run into the same laziness and luxury problems we have in the Western World. At some point it may even out and they will have raise prices and we will all be balanced again?!
@jzvr58422 жыл бұрын

@@jzvr5842 Good point, but Singapore is to me not equal to China, though China wants to see it that way. We are too busy getting our work/life balance straight and too much time is being spent on bullshit images from single people, to corporations to government to maintain something irrelevant that they can profit from in any other form. I am not saying everything is bad here, I am also happy human rights don't get breached on a systematic way, but I am worried about our future and I have to spend more time on selecting what is total and utter BS and what is real and worth focusing on. Here are some examples to what I call BS: -Consuming news about people we will never be in touch with - Celebrity News -Driving uncomfortable cars optimized for high speed in countries that have a speed limit -Driving huge and wasteful pick-up trucks on a daily basis when you never/rarely need to transport bulky stuff -Dress yourself according to the lastest fashion trends - just wear what feels and looks good to you and stick with less things in long term -Don't buy stuff you don't need just to impress others -Don't try to impress others in the private world, be yourself and focus on your health and care for your few real friends and be tolerant and helpful to others. I could go on but I have stuff to do, anyway just to give you and idea about 1st world problems, which might overlap with others.

@gustav324514 ай бұрын
Is it possible to get an update, with current prices in China? I really like this car, but the price in Norway is 660K NOK for a fully loaded G9 AWD Performance with out taxes and winter wheels. An G9 AP is priced the same as starting price of the BMW iX40 and close to starting price of Audi Q6 Quattro. After haggeling on a new BMW iX50 with all bells and whistles (tow hich, B&W, laser lights, 22"s etc. all assists etc.) the Xpeng 9 performance will be priced 30% under it. The G9 has been on sale here for about a year now and is a rare sight. A lot of consumers got burnt by Fisker bankrupcy and the resell value of a new brand is never going to be great. So I fear at least for now undercuting with 30% is just not enough. Way better than any Japanese, European or American car, China makes the best EVs by far and has all the best EV battery tech.
It seems to me that the rationale for personal vehicles does not really exist for most people. The monthly cost compared to distance travelled seems ridiculous. The future will most likely have efficiently sized people moving vehicles. Capacity will be 7-10 people, and the vehicles will network with each other to form small trains that could easily handle rush hour loads and then go off somewhere to charge up. There will be surplus capacity for people to have quick responses for local errand running etc. This will obviously require a reconceptualization of how we move large numbers of people in short windows of time. It's great that the 'elites' are willing to be the beta testers for technology to be used in everyday vehicles!

Love the front end! The 5G antenna will stop you getting the full rearward range of the roofrails! I'd have loved to see it going up a 45° grassy slope.... 👍

You sure that's not a Niro EV ? Cleaning those wheels by hand .. nightmare. Unfortunately for the world Americans think that would be a mid sized vehicle.. when will they stop their excessive consumption ? Nice Hat btw !!

China themselves is responsible for 30% of the worlds pollution. Double the USA’s impact 😂 so don’t worry about us and this is midsize

There's a thing called a carwash, who tf cleans wheels by hand? Also this is way better than any crap Kia puts out.

@@jzvr5842 I clean my wheels by hand as I've never seen a car wash get to the back of the wheel, and secondly a car wash doesn't remove the metal fallout from discs. Also car washes often damage your paintwork.. if you check out the detailing channels you will learn about all of these three items.

@@gregchristie2763 THIS, if ur someone that owns a really nice car or u just appreciate the things u have u would know that over time car washes end up leaving little micro scratches every time use them. Eventually and all those micro scratches add up to a lot and just looks bad
