XPLOR PARK MEXICO/CARNIVAL CRUISE/COZUMEL SHORE EXCURSION

XPLOR PARK Honest review: At our age (50+) we were not sure if booking the XPLOR PARK XCARET Cozumel Shore excursion in Mexico would be "DOING TOO MUCH" 😅 but it was offered on Carnival Valor. So we figured this would be the perfect opportunity to zip line, drive amphibious vehicles, hand raft and swim in an underground river inside of a cave! Things we had NEVER done before, all in one park! So we threw caution to the wind and just did it! And boy were we glad we did! 😃
If you are on a Carnival Cruise to Cozumel Mexico, XPLOR Park is a great shore excursion. Or if you are in Mexico visiting Playa de Carmen, where XPLOR Park Xcaret is actually located, this is a great excursion for those seeking fun and adventure. You will not be disappointed!

THANK YOU SO MUCH for this video!!! My husband & our 3 kids are leaving in 25 days for our cruise & just purchased this excursion last night. This video was EXTREMELY helpful and EXTREMELY NOT helpful....let me explain! It is NOT helpful because now all of our excitements levels went from 8 to 20 on a 10 point scale after watching your video!!!!!!!!! You guys did an amazing job detailing everything & making it where we absolutely know what we purchased. One thing I forgot to mention is, there are 2 different zip lines (deer and Jaguar). Being that it was our first time EVER zip lining we chose the smaller of the 2 😅 But was glad we did because it allowed us more time to do other things. With the river swim and the rafting you also have the choice to take a shorter or longer route. There is a lot of walking, so be prepared for that. But it was an amazing experience! Do it! 😁The pictures are unlimited for $65. I will give you a tip I wish I knew...The cameras are in random places throughout the park. Some are activated by your helmet and some you have to push a button. But make sure no one else is standing near you, because the camera may pick up the signal from their helmet and you will end up with their pictures. We ended up with about 45 pictures and 10 of those were of other people 🥴But it's definitely worth the price! Thanks for watching! 🥰

Yes definitely worth it! We are planning to do it again in November with our sons. 😄 They have life jackets and life guards there to help.

While I understand the need for the helmets I'm not a fan. Those look a bit less awkward feeling though than the ones used on construction sites. I'm still debating doing this one. So much to do though...Very tempting.

You are required to wear a life jacket and it will definitely help. They also have lifeguards in the river as well. There are 2 different routes, I would suggest the shorter one if you don't know how to swim. Thanks for watching! It's an amazing experience! 😃

The tour guide said that we got an early start than most. It was around 10:30 or 11 and we left the park at 3:30
