It is amazing the older we get the more we decide to slow down and enjoy life more. I told my wife if I had known I was gonna live to be this old I would’ve taken better care of myself. She and I are heading down to Cozumel soon for our first time and this has been very insightful and useful, thank you for sharing.

I hardly remember my Carnival cruise to Cozumel. It was back around 2002, and left out of Miami. Went with my cousin, we had drink cards, and hooked up with these girls on the boat. Walked of the beaten path, from Port, and hooked up again with 2 Senioiitas. Good time! Can't remember what ship we were on though.

Never have been to Cozumel. Are there concerns there for safety? Carnival is a nice ship. Had a good time on the ship. Don't smoke, don't wear a watch. Don't like to go to beaches. Haven't been to Mexico either. There is Kelly. There are some advantages to remaining on the ship while others are off. Nice view of the ship. You should have stepped into the casino. They usually have eateries too. Don't know if I would like to go there. Especially with the heat so high so early in the year. I basically don't like people either. Just a glass of wine with a meal. Or a Mimosa with Brunch. The Carnival Deli's are really good. The food is not free. When you paid your cruise fare things are included in the fare. Like being on the boat when most others are off. Early dining is good. Sea days are nice.

How far of a walk to the tropical place? Is there a fees to get in? Is there any nice beach nearby that we don't have to pay for?

The tropical places are tours or taxi rides away. It’s more of a tourist port then a city when you arrive
