As long as you setup the XP Deus 2 to your local conditions, this platform is very deep or as shallow as you want to make it. Very fine tuned Detector and easy to use. Well done XP and thank you for a great detector.

Fantastic video and information. Thank you XP. Why didn’t the tester use Goldfield for the 9mm sized .25 gram copper fragment. That would seem like the logical mode to use for a target that size and stated conductivity.

My question is why would anyone set the discrimination to 0 in a 3 tone program or any program. This would eliminate the 1st. tone (iron) and the iron would come through in the 2nd tone as a good signal. This would make the program all metal mode. and you would have to pay strict attention to the meter for visual iron signals without the iron grunt. Please explain why/when would I go all metal.

Thank you for this video. I’ll try your settings for mineralized soil. The soil in my yard is so bad that I cannot detect a silver U.S. dime at 5 inches (~13cm) with any of the factory programs on the Deus II. Lowering the reactivity did not help.
