Xprite Chase Bar Install On The 2022 X3 XRC RR

Quick video of the Xprite 36" Chase Bar install. I picked this chase bar up from amazon for the 2022 Can-am Maverick X3 Xrc Turbo RR. It was pretty straight forward. I did have to order some roll bar mounts off amazon for the install. Having the Auxbeam Switch pod already installed definitely made it a breeze. I actually like that! Gives you light for your storage area too, I carry a ton of tools and straps ect. Might need a chase light for my new can am! Thanks for the video Jake!

For the reverse light switch did you wire the white to the switch with a power switch also to the switch? And is this light waterproof? So basically red and black make it functional rest wires are just if want brake lights and turn signals?

Correct. It can be ran just off red and black, but the white lights wouldn’t light up. It is water proof. Only had it out in the snow for one day so far though. No issues with it yet.

So if I wire the reverse to a switch and a positive to the switch should work? Nice I got the light 30inch no directions and they didn't give me a rocker just the regular switch

How did you wire the chase light to the auxbeam so the different strobe patterns work? Thank you in advance

Wired the switch to the fuse block so i can still use the different modes if needed and just use the panel to turn the power on and off for the chase light. Tied the red lights into the brake lights so the come on every time I press the brakes. Also, wired the white light to a separate fuse to be manually turned on and off separately.

@@bryanv2983 yeah. The rocker switch controls the strobe patterns and switch panel turns it on and off

Yes, the way I have it set up I can run just the white lights if I want.

What brackets did you use? I want some that’ll have the chase light flush and in line with the cage

The ones that I used are in the description. I had to go with some that would push it out far enough because of my back window.

If you go with the xprite, you can use the two carriage bolts that come with it. There is a t-slot in the back of the light and you can use the two holes in the factory cage if it's a can am.

@@vlexlopez5389 the lights casing has a t-slot cut into the back of it..or t channel, that a carriage bolt slides into. There are 2 correct sized carriage bolts in the hardware pack that comes with the light.

Can you change the strobe light functions if its connected to the auxbeam switch?

Yes but you have to use the supplied rocker switch to change the patterns. The aux beam switch panel just gives it the power.

yeah, it has probably half a dozen different strobe settings.

If I understand correctly, the rocker switch you use it only to change strobe patterns but just wondering why not just use it for power as well?
