Yes last 1v1 against eachother helped a lot. Now Xqc has got better at aiming and hitting the ball with power, so thats why he is so good by now, but he got a lot to learn. Its funny how people cant belive his plat, while plat in 2v2s is a lot diffrent, than plat in 3v3s. Im Diamond 1 in 2v2s, while im currently struggling to get back to plat 1 in 3v3s, when I was last season in plat 1 in 3v3s, when im now gold 3 in 3v3s, while Xqc is still silver 3 in 3v3s. If Xqc keep up to consistently play Rocket League every day for few hours. I think in 1-2 weeks his going to hit diamond 1 in 2v2s. That last game was then level diffrence against better players in 2v2s, so they lost, when I dont think they were smurfing, when they were just real plat 3s. In Diamond the game play is going to get a lot faster with aerial ball control with some players. Xqc still needs to do some training packs to get his aim even better, but he indeed has got significantly bad, when in first episode it was funny how he was called plat, when he got luckily in plat 1 from placement matches.

@@jout738 Is it really that different at lower ranks? I float between D3/C1 in both 2s and 3s. I feel 2s are harder at higher ranks because you make one small mistake and the other team usually has an open net. Where as in 3s you have that extra person to rotate out and cover your mistake.

@@logangagnier8937 Dude he went from gold to almost diamond in a day, and hes finally able to hit the ball off the wall and do some basic aerials, hes improving insanely fast. All he needs to do is free play, i dont think ive seen him open freeplay once yet, ballchasing in freeplay is the best way to improve so once he starts doing that he will be diamond in no time

Jesse is way more consistent with his strikes but his game sense, rotation, and overall movement around the field is pretty bad. X just needs to learn how to hit the ball his game sense and rotation is pretty good already

Yes Xqc still needs to do his training packs to be able to hit the ball properlly with power consistently, when he goes for many aerials where he misses the ball, but he has got better in hitting the ball still..

@@dyriten True, rocket league really isn’t a beginner friendly game because of how difficult it is. It took me almost 1,000 hours to get Grand Champion. That’s a massive dedication and understandably a lot of people don’t wanna do that especially variety streamers like X

@@Sly2BandOfThievesIsTheBestSly its no cap one of the best competitive games out there, one of the only big modern games to use the old esports design (no actual classes, thus fully balanced (no patches adjusting stats around ever), completely free physics game giving it insanely deep tech skill and depth, ridiculous learning curve and skill gap to where 1 high rated player alone can demolish a full lobby of players rated a bit lower, the games gets more fun the more you get mechanically better, no RNG, etc), akin to the OG esports like Quake 3. Gotta remember X was a pro overwatch player, thus has that competitive itch. For people like that RL hits different once you see how much potential for improving yourself at it its got, no better feeling than noticing clear improvement that relied completely on yourself on a well designed competitive game when you got that itch, and to make that noticeability clear the game must have that wide ass skill gap. Its also got short games so its a very good game to hop in and hop out without getting too tilted if youre on a bad day, kinda like fast timer chess games, so it becomes one of these games you keep playing to fill time every once in a while even if youre not actively grinding.
