this game is like the biggest "it should be good... but it fucking isn't" no real progression or fun, no stats just cosmetics and pvp based despite having all these cool PvE aspects you get basically nothing worth getting by doing them, the style and quality of the game is great and their event missions & shit are dope but it's just "do it for the experience" and there's no gain from it other than that which makes the game DOG SHIT! to me

Cosmetics are basically a display of achievement in the game. Its a nice game because it literally is make your own fun/adventure. You can never “fall behind.” Its a true mmorpg. The progression is just becoming a good pirate.
