nah they kicked her for her ignorance. Sure you can do the same thing with a more complex ingredient with the more consistent one (langoustine and lobster).This would even work if the theme was "southern food" and she chose the langoustine to elevate it. But it was the other way around. As a comparison: When you get some ground meat theme but make Kobe-Beef-Tatar it's a nice elevation. But when you get Kobe Beef as the main part of the dish and then make Tatar out of it, it is kind of a waste.
