Agreed with X on the less team fight stuff. Generally, the skirmish dps style gameplay is more popular, but that's a double edged sword because it's also more generic. The audience who likes every hero to be FPS-skill based will quickly drop this game for the thousands of other games that offer similar gameplay. The audience who likes Overwatch as a team-fight game will not ditch because there's few games that offer such an experience, especially of the first person variety..

@@accidentalmadness1708 I just played ow2 after writing that comment and Oh My God you have got to be the most wrong person I have ever met. It is the most fun I have had with any Activision Blizzard game ever. The lack of cc means your team can push based on numbers, the cooldowns mean less now due to the overwhelming power of positioning. Things die less so when someone does die it feels more like a battle than a numbers game. The audio and visual queues make the game feel insurmountably different. When you take damage it doesn't feel like a pike stabbing into flesh it feels like a pebble bouncing of plastic. I can't even explain here how much better it is.

That dmg reduction idea is pretty great, something a smart Winston main would say🙃👍, basically in a 1v1 you're a bit tanky, but the legend multiplier is a nice quality of life improvement without being overpowered. In all seriousness, that is smart, I personally would like to see some free movement on window's grapple hook, like hammond as it pulls you in

Guess X forgot that reins pin damage should get reduced due to how much easier it is to land AND the game reduced the amount of CC in multiple hero’s kits. On top of that, rein has an additional flame strike so his burst is still there for mid hp hero’s. Literally rein shield took a hit but my guy is more lethal when he’s in range.

I think the game will feel better in general. The game turned into a tanky, shield and heal fest that ruined the game and made it a lot harder for skill based players to shine with all the support and tankiness going on. Now that there is one less player and abilities habe been altered. There will be less of that going on for the most part. Which is a good thing. Teamwork will still be important but you will have people with opportunities to outplay or make big plays on their own which is big plus.

I agree. I mained Orisa during the beta when I rarely played Orisa in Overwatch 1. And speaking of fun, Overwatch 2 is the most fun I've had with Overwatch since 2017, its so refreshing! Only people who are saying they don't like it are people who hate on it just for being Overwatch. Like how people hated the lootbox system and now they hate the Battle Pass system. The game is the most balanced it's been since about 2018 with GOATS comp and Double Shield. It has reduced CC dramatically where a lot of stuns are removed. Yes it may only be an update but it's a great one, and I can't wait to play PVE in 2023!

The problem is the team based aspect of the game turned into a tanky shield and heal deathball fest. It wasnt fun to a lot of players so thats why overwatch got less popular overtime. You need to have a balance where the team aspect remains but you have players that can still affect the game solo if they are good enough to do so. It makes the game more fun in general
