In the US, the car exam is a written portion that assesses knowledge of traffic signs and turn signal usage, and a practical exam where the applicant drives around for about 10 minutes, and mostly just demonstrates turn signal and sign literacy. Testing for the motorcycle endorsement actually assesses some technique, as one is asked to perform maneuvering in a parking lot, around cones and with stipulations such as accelerate to a certain speed and stop on a line, within a time frame. But largely, the license just evaluates the most basic of competencies, and it's expected that the driver won't be proficient until many hours of on the road, post license, experience.

If your driving and ever water skate or drift out for any reason its always better to stop accelerating and let the car reorientate and slow down then to slam the brakes, which just makes you spin out and lose control, stay safe :)

first of all its called hydroplaning second of all, you have something called ABS third of all your esp will brake for you on the correct wheel so i dont see how braking is going to make it much worse the real lesson is dont brake hard or accelerate hard on wet surfaces since you will probably spin out, also be careful of big puddles (especially if it is only on 1 side of the car)

He is not overtaking the truck here, he is driving in his lane normally with the truck in the left lane and cut over an entire lane because he was going to miss his turn. That's just a guy that fucked up. missed his turn, and would rather put others in serious danger than take the next turn off.

That wasn't even an overtake. 5. If you're a truck driver and need several lanes to make a turn, you still have to wait for traffic. There is absolutely no way for the driver to know what the truck is doing when the truck gets in one lane and then just swings over to make a turn without indicating properly
