The point of owning a mansion for people worth hundreds of millions is the novelty of designing them.. They don't make any money back and just depreciate in value, he paid 50 million and now he can't even sell it for 15 million, at some point the only thing that will have some value is the land that it is built on.

My boss is the classiest person I've ever met, he does house flipping as a hobby and is very fond of the saying "money can't buy taste". This is a great example of that. Good luck to whoever buys that because it needs some serious re-modelling. The basketball court and the table with the cool skylight above it, the gym and the underground casino area are about all the things you'd want to keep, you can really tell where MJ spent all his time can't you? Buy the house, bulldoze the actual house and keep the court and underground and then spend a couple more million filling the wine cellar up

My aunt came from Poland in the late 80s and in the 90s and up until today, she cleans this house of Michael Jordan’s which is located in Highland Park. She told me stories of the 90s and how she would open the door for the champions as they came to Jordan’s house to celebrate after their championship game. He would call my aunt on a Christmas and talk to my cousins and we’d all be listening in 😂🤣. Also, I was getting lots of unreleased shoes from him that were worn once , mostly his sons because he wore my size back then lol. Tried to sell them for money but I could never prove they were legit. Aunt couldn’t get anything signed because his horrible ex wife made her sign a contract forbidding it.

You can so tell how outdated this house really is…sure he spent 50Mil in the 1600s when he bought it but gonna need more than a handful of new furnishings.
