Hiya bud im back again lol, i did the cold air intake mod & now i finally did my exhaust, i ended up cutting my standard rear muffler off & picked up grabbing a 2.5inch pipe witch i welded on & installed chrome twin exhause tip...il tell ya mate she sounds bloody awesome, nice & deep + bonus no droning when travelling at normal speed or putting the pedal down lol. Most ppl ilv seen delete the middle muffler but i thought il up the game & do my rear & im stocked👌🏼

Hey mate, just saw your comment and I was curious. I just put in an xforce catback system on my fg, but it's quite as, so I'm thinking of removing the rear muffler and putting in a straight pipe. How have you found it after a few months, does it still sound alright?

AJ hiya bud cutting off my rear muffler was the best choice i made, welded on a 2.5 straight pipe she sounds awesome mate, get more of a nicer tone deleting the rear muffler then deleting the mid muffler 100% happy

Big bonus is you dont get that droning sound like alot have mentioned, ilv done this style on all my cars & never a problem with droning or humming sound as they say lol...goodluck mate

Hey Mate I have a question I got headers and cat back exhaust system installed. But now I have the engine light on,is there anyway to get rid of the engine light? I love your videos by the way.

Hi Gonz the light can be disabled using a tuner or a spacer can help. I wouldn't worry too much as the light only indicates that the catalytic converter is flowing to much. This wont hurt the car and it shouldn't go into limp mode. Its mainly an emissions thing.

Hey thanks for the vid. Been researching for something exactly like this but was hesitant to hit buy cos hadn't heard it. Noticed any drone while cruising 60 to 80? From what I read having the centre resonator and the rear muffler really help with that 👍

Hi Luc Unfortunately being a straight six it does drone ever so slightly but is easy to live with as its not to loud. I was actually surprised at how good it sounds compared to many I've heard. It has a deep rumbling tone and in car is quiet. I definitely recommend this exhaust....as long as your happy to wait !!! Took ages to arrive

Backyard Bunky Builds how long did it take roughly? I just bought one and they said they have to make a part to complete my order lol. Don’t know why they would advertise it if you have to wait for a part to be made. I’m happy to wait tho if it sounds good

How did you attach the tips did you have to get a hammer and smash them on?

I tapped them on with a rubber mallet 👍

@@lachlanburns5428 i used some wd 40 around the exhaust and smacked them on with a mallet but i put a piece of wood on the tips so it put the force on the entire face of the tipe

To be honest the cat back didn't seem to gain much power. It definitely didn't lose any power and once the extractors and cat were upgraded it made a noticeable increase in power.

Backyard Bunky Builds thanks for the response :) I’m looking at getting one of these as I think xforce and other brands are a rip off. Yeah so just as long as it’s gonna last me and not be complete crap I’ll be happy. I’m thinking about getting the one with the muffler delete but not sure if that’s gonna attract attention from the cops. What do u think?

Hey Jugggs the cat back is pretty loud with the hotdog and rear muffler.....it depends on how loud you want it to be

@@backyardbunkybuilds7461 I want a nice roar but something that also isnt going to cause drone and be annoying after long periods of time. I love loud deep exhaust notes. Its hard trying to find something online because i know they can sound a whole lot different in person.

Hi Calvin I would assume that the cat back system I used is not road legal. But they do another version which has two sports mufflers and that system would likely be legal.

Would it be possible to see what size the muffler on the new exhaust is, thinking of buying an dea exhaust, but not sure if the sound will be any louder from my stock exhaust with a muffler delete, cheers

Gday Jye muffler deletes are popular but by changing up to the dea exhaust you get a higher flowing 2.5" system. Both work its just up to personal preference. I found the cat back a great value upgrade.

I bought an exhaust from this place for fg xr6 n/a had it for about a year and it doesn’t have the same note to it and rattles a lot any idea for the sound change and rattle

Sounds like you may have an exhaust leak and loose flange bolts. Id get underneath it and tighten everything up and it'll probably fix your problems

Thanks man, that axel section looks to be hard, ill be doing it on car ramps. How loud is the system? I have gone with empire rear muffler and hotdog centre.

Get the rear end up high as you safley can and it'll be sweet. If its similar to the DEA system its not to bad but the extractors and 100cell cat make it a bit loud.
