Maybe one day I'll get around to editing that video. It's certainly way overdue.

@@TheAlexManVideos should hope so. I have a 70 in pieces rn and would like to know all that is wrong w it and all the symptoms I should be looking for meaning signs of other problems before I reassemble plus the proper reassemble. But not just the reassemble...

Where’s part to at I can’t find it? Also I have a xr 70 bike that’s getting weak would you recommend a new piston/rings or a whole rebuild. Defiantly needs a o-ring around the kick starter

Please get a square tool for the rocker adjustment - those pliers simply do not belong there and screw up the square head in the long run ;)

BavarianMonkey I've always wanted to, I always advocate "the right tool for the job." I don't really have a reason why I haven't bought the tool yet.

Looking forward to the seat mod I need some more room haha
@TheAlexManVideos9 жыл бұрын
jetsgo66 It's super easy. You gain about an inch and a half more leg room, it doesn't sound like much, but it made a world of difference on my occasional seven hour drives.

Alex been a big fan of your videos. Congrats on banging out a swap on your 4runner over a weekend and then driving it back to school, and congrats on graduating + new gig + new house. Sounds like your living the dream!! Do you have an engineering degree or anything like that?
@TheAlexManVideos9 жыл бұрын
Snapback CBR Thanks! Things are working out. It seems that I'm not getting any richer. I make more money than I did in school but I'm also spending more. I graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering.

Hey thanks so much for the informative video. I want to ask your advice. I have the exact same xr70r. put it up for winter storage, and when I brought it out in the spring it began smoking white smoke immediately. bike have very low hours, and never smoked before storage. it looks like rings or cylinder wear but I'm just not convinced it could start so suddenly. any ideas?

Hi I really like your videos. Thanks for making them. Just a thing that's been bothering me...why are there 3 acorn nuts and one regular nut on the cylinder studs and why does the regular nut have a copper washer but the other ones have a regular washer?
