You should've sold when they won vs SEC. XRP is so stunted, they are way behind. Institutions will simply build their own private chains and utilize something like layerzero or chainlink ccip on top of something like avax subnets or polkadot parachain or cosmos hub or even venom. Both xrp and ICP are similar kinds of boomer coins that think the future of finance will be built on a monolithic chain and not based on interoperability. At best, xrp will turn into a layer 2 for one of the bigger chains.

It’s probably a massive part of your portfolio because you bought very cheap and will benefit if it rises in the slightest. For those of us who bought at $.30 - $.70, we will not benefit from XRP. Rich people will not allow a bunch of normal folks to become wealthy with only holding XRP. I would love for XRP to benefit my family, but I’m not counting on it. It will go nowhere, even if the SEC case is completed. Hate to be so negative, but I saw videos from one to two years ago and people on KZbin were saying the same as this video.

XRPL can focus on interbank communication and exchange and the rest 100s of legit crypto will take care of another real world applications. Take a look in Categories of Coingeco,CMC, Crypto rankings. DiD, Storage, Cloud computing,Rwa tokenisation , interoperability, AI training or market place and so on. Crypto in 2012 and Crypto in 2024 are two different stories. Payments was just a first application of blockchain technology ( or DTT).

One think I can suggest though if ripple continues dumping on bag holders many will dump and exit. Apart from my self I believe many have hold over the 7 years period at least. I think you're right when it comes to other new crypto companies and tokens but Ripple and XRP do not have that advantage over the JP Morgans of the world!
