AGGRESSIVE CATCHES IN MADDEN 17 | WORSE THAN EVER?

i saw a video of some Madden Dev saying its fixed. They only gave aggressive catch to only wide receivers who can really pull it off in real life. Another big thing is they toned down on the percentage they will be able to catch aggressive catches and i heard some how you can't just do it every play. I don't know what determines when you can or cannot do aggressive catch but its been stated to work so it doesn't happen in every game. Last thing is if you switch to corner back the swat feature will be a little easier to time when it comes to aggressive catches and add in the chances of the receiver catching it is lower then Madden 16 like i mentioned before. So to me it sounds like its been addressed and the dev even said the aggressive catch in Madden 16 was game breaking so chances are they did fix it.

Well this may be because I'm a bias Giants fan but i believe that Odell will be able to replicate similar catches during his career because his hands are built to. And I like the new swat feature in Madden 17 because hopefully I will still be able to do solos easily with the aggressive catch and play a fair game online.

Like I said guys. Maybe the footage I saw wasn't the full build of the game but it definitely seemed like the aggressive catching was just as bad as ever. I really hope they tone it down.

All they have to do to fix aggressive catching IMO is remove the "unbeatable animations" make so every time they throw up an aggressive catch we have a chance to counter, the better the corner the higher the chance, which I believe Rex said that's what the system is this year. If it's true I like that bc it's how it works irl but people will abuse the Calvin Johnson's of the league on the terrible corners. Definitely can't wait to get the game it looks like gameplay wise we might have a good year.

Apparently they did tone down the success of aggressive catch, as well as make it much easier for the DB to swat the ball away instead of going for the pick

Was the agressive catching vs the cpu or player? You have to swat to counter it and the CPU doesnt always make the best decision.

Watching your vid, you try to play the ball for the crazy INT. There is about a 2% chance that it works, but you keep trying it. Play the receiver and you will destroy aggressive catchers.

EA will never remove aggressive catch because so many people rely on it. So if they were to remove it now, so many people would be end up quitting the game, which means less money for EA

They gave to have agg catch in the game bc in real life if the corner plays the ball and the receiver plays the ball 6 times outta 10 the receiver makes the play that's why they're on offense and the DB is on Defense , most of the time, so 60% of time on real life Is going to correlate more in the game bc the most you'll play in mut and online H2H is 6 mins . And the gameplay you're talking about was more than likely against computer and on rookie or all pro

Exactally I commented in CookieBoy's video, I said omg obj caught it 3/5 times one handed and that is not realistic at all no matter the reciever or cornerback. O'Dell might catch that 1/20 times thrown up to him with one hand like he did against the cowboys guy or any other cornerback. When have you seen any other reciever do a catch that good? Once a season at most!

Like going back to the Odell reference he made about " he pulled that famous catch on the cowboys out his bag of tricks and it's a once in a lifetime catch " is wrong because he's made harder catches than that , the dude catches kick offs with one hand lol , he practices those crazy catches everyday...
