To be fair, driving like this is most often a symptom of not knowing the track; it's reactive driving, rather than memorized. You only get to drive that way once you've memorized what a track and/or given set of corners look like - just try and implement that advice when it comes to oncoming traffic or the chaos of a packed start. It's not very helpful for when you're encountering a given race for the first time, or simply new to the map, or the car, or any combination thereof. I personally have my deadzone set to almost zero, while I keep my steering sensitivity at the midpoint.

Hi @The Goliath, new sub here. Your content is great, thank you! Some questions: 1. What's the best between gas-to-drift and brake-to-drift setting regarding each of 5 methods you described? 2. If you use gas-to-drift during pvp and night pursuit (so unpredictable situations) are you more exposed to unwanted drift than using brake-to-drift? 3. What dead zone and live settings do you use for offroad and drift trial? 4. Off topic: What do you think about new car's handling in The Crew 2 after the 25 march 2020 Inner Drive update? (if you're still playing it)

Crazy how none of this was answered
@williammiller496 Жыл бұрын
@@AceeTheChosen why wouldn't he answer the question about dead zone when you wouldn't change it for a certain race type lol. Deadzone all depends on you're controller, you can put it as low as you want but when you start to experience stick drift put it higher, but for most controllers 10-12 is fine . He also can't answer the question because the setting this comment is talking about all works different for everyone and should stay the same throughout the game .

Why does the car randomly turn sideways, midway through a turn, and go through the barrier? I will be going into the turn as normal, and then the car just goes sideways and my race is instantly ruined. I have tried to find a way to stop it from doing that to no avail. I am not even putting any power to the wheels when it happens, so how can the car just go sideways like that? I cannot finish the first race of this game. The car is not drivable.

What does pressing L1 and R1 do exactly?
@gregtaillon4019 Жыл бұрын
Watching this at 25% speed, I gotta say, I take fairly serious issue with the instructions during your hairpin ("low speed cornering") direction beginning around 3:01. First of all, your directions tell the user to let go of the gas, while you still have it at ~90%. You also have the brake depressed for about the first 1/4 of the turn. Just as the turn begins, you have both gas & brake pressed, and then about 95% of gas in use while you oversteer into the corner before hitting a late apex at about 3:04. Right when your text "Observe" appears, you're already in a full skid, albeit in control. However, since you began the entry-braking into the corner while off-track, you already begin with grip-loss and so are effectively committed to an entry drift into the corner despite your advice. Thus begun, it does make sense to carry through in that manner; however, the advice and description remain contradictory to the demonstration. Had you moved a few inches over to the right prior to entry, you could've maximized your braking grip to narrow the slowdown window-meaning, braking is always superior to simply lifting off the gas unless rectifying an issue by overapplication of the accelerator in the first place. Your followup corner, while good, is hardly a demonstration of low-speed cornering since it takes place around 115mph; if it doesn't require braking, it is, by definition, either mid-speed or a very loose corner: hardly necessary to explain

@MysticTreeStone6 ай бұрын
I feel all these tips apply mostly to rsr how about a handling vid using the skyline99 or a charger each car has different handling n making these techniques even far more fundamentally more important with stiffer handling cars or say how about the mustang fox body yeah solo u can get wider turns tho when playing against others n not in the lead u can end up clashing over turn space same with NPCs other than that basic driving tips I learned a long time ago in Gran Turismo n og hot pursuit on playstation on heat the regular brake licks my steering depending on car only ebrake snaps more than most n the stiffest needs both brakes in my experience so far.
